Hanna's P.O.V
"Because?" I ask the girls once I know Emily has driven away.
Spencer is pacing near the couch, she is making me feel uneasy, and Aria is sitting on the couch never keeping her eyes focused on one thing for too long.
"Guys?" I say, waking them up from their thoughts.
"Look Hanna" Spencer starts "it could've been a personal text from her parents, or maybe a new friend... every time out phones buzz doesn't mean it's -A, which doesn't give us the right to look at each others messages!" Spencer finally finishes.
I look at her speechless. Aria looks at me, and nods in agreement with Spencer. "She's right, and even if it was from -A, haven't we all got those personal threat texts from her?" Aria says.
I sit down on the opposite couch, my head resting in my hands. "Well, you know, every one of us has a secret. And I think Emily's is, that she has a girlfriend." I say, not even realising that it came out of my mouth.
Aria and Spencer look at me. "What?" They say together.
"Well that's probably why she didn't let us look at that text." I say.
"Yeah but... why wouldn't she tell us?" Aria asks, "Emily would tell us."
"Not if it's an enemy she's not supposed to be with." I reply.
"Who are you suggesting?" Spencer asks.
"I don't know." I say, finding myself at a dead end.
*Arias phone rings*
"Oh, it's Emily." she says surprised.
"Hello?"
"What? Were supposed to go together!"
"We'll come now!"
"Oh my god guys. Emily went to the brew to meet -A without us!" Aria says panicking. "-A probably sent her something to make her rush off there so she could get her alone."
I grab my handbag, and follow Spencer and Aria out the door.
"I’m sick of this" I say "This bitch is going down, whether I am pregnant or not."
We get to the brew and see Emily siting down and someone dressed in all black ('A'?) walks past they drop a note to Emily. We start to run to 'A' when Emily pushes us away from them, 'A' gets away then Emily walks out and the girls follow her I am the last one to go, as I walking out I see that Emily dropped the note so I pick it up and walk over to the girls who are standing at Emily’s car. As imp walking I hear Emily say, "Just leave me alone" then she gets in the car and drives away.
We all get into the car and drive back to spencer's house. I say '' I need to go but I will be back later" I get in my car and read the note. It says: please don’t tell spencer about what happened she will never forgive me, I will always love you. Toby xx
OMG what happen between them two, I have to find out. I drive over to Emily’s and I see that there is a car out the fount that I haven’t seen before, I get out the car and go to knock at the door but before I can toby walks out.
"What happened with you and Emily?” I ask
"How do know?" he says
I hold up the note
'How did you get that?' he asks
"I will answer your question when you answer mine" I reply
"Fine than but you can't tell anyone"
"Ok"
"Come inside" he says
"What are you doing here?” Emily ask
"I’m to find out what happened with you two “I say
"Nothing happened" she says
I hold but the note "so this is nothing"
"How did you get that?" she asks
"You dropped it"
"Did anyone else see it or read it?" she asks
"No lucky for you I opened it in the car"
"When this is what happened"
And she tells me everything that happened...
