The nature of rain is to fall
A raindrop feels no pity in this act of falling
As it touches a cheek of a person passing,
rain empathizes with no one
whether it causes floods or life
And I envy the rain
My time was coming to an end when I found you
Our destruction was evident to only each other
I first saw you alone surrounded by strangers
but I knew you
I could tell you were a reflection
This moment, this flicker of time,
it reminded me of life before the darkness descended
It gave me hope
Hope came and went with the summer breeze
You will always be my love, my friend, my hope
Promise me one thing: live
Find the meaning I never could
Because the world just doesn't exist without you in it
And I can't loose the world, only myself
