Wish You Were Here

Miley: ( she walked into the church where Demi's and Logan's memoir was being held in. She was smiling at old friends of the family, relatives that she didn't even remember and then went to take a seat next to her brother. )
Zac: ( he smiles at her and thank God for having his little sister there, He grabbed her hand and held it tightly wanting to let her know that he not going anywhere. )
Miley: ( she turned to her brother with a small smile. ) Thanks Zac... for always being there for me even when I have pushed you away. ( she sighed. ) I miss her. ( she added. )

Selena: ( she walked into the church with Nick and Taylor following behind her. She sighed. ) I can't believe that it has been 3 years.
Taylor: Well believe it. ( she said with a sigh. ) Look Miles is over there. ( she stated, starting to walk towards her. )
Nick:( he stopped Taylor. ) I think that we should go sit some where else, we shouldn't force Miley into a friendship that has been lost for so long.
Taylor: ( she rolled her eyes and puts her arm around his shoulder. ) Look Nick, if you want Miley to realize that she's dating the wrong brother, you have to man up. ( she stated and strutted in Miley' direction. )
Selena: ( she looked over at him and gave him a small smile before adding. ) You know she's right. ( she lightly laughs and went after Taylor, who now was sitting next to a tan boy close to their age. )
Nick: (he cursed under his breath and followed after both the girls knowing Taylor indeed was right, if he ever wanted a chance with Miley, he would have to fight for her. )

Ashley: ( she was beyond mad. ) You're blowing me off for some stupid memoir?! ( she yelled at him. )
Joe: ( he turns to tune her out as she continues to whine. ) Look I will make it up to you some other day.
Ashley: ( she looked at him and pouted. ) The only way you can make this up to me is if you finally break it off with Miley.
Joe: ( he shook his head. ) I can't do that and you know it.
Ashley: ( she bit down her tongue to prevent herself from screaming. she glared at him. ) You can't or you don't want to? ( she retorted. )
Joe: I don't want to. ( he responded simply. he kissed her check and then walked out of her room leaving her alone. )

Miley: ( she sighed as she listens to the pastor go on and on about who knows what. she couldn't help but think back to her now dead twin sister. how happy she always was. )

{Flashback}

Demi: ( 15 year old demi ran into her sister's room. ) Miles, guess what? ( she asked jumping up and down. )
Miley: (15 year old miley turned to her sister with a raised eyebrow. ) What Demetria? ( she mocked her. )
Demi: ( she playfully glared at her and sticked her tongue out at her. ) I will ignore that only because we're twins and I have a surprise for you.
Miley: ( this made her blue eyes shine with excitement. ) What's my surprise? ( she asked getting up from her bed with a huge smile on her face. )
Demi: ( she smiles at her sister as she took out 4 tickets from her pocket. ) Guess who's going to go see Britney Spears in concert?!
Miley: ( her eyes widen in disbelief as she screamed in excitement. ) No way!?
Demi: Yes way! ( she yelled jumping up and down. )
Miley: ( she screamed in excitement once again as she threw her arms around her sister. ) You're the best Demi!
Demi: So are you. ( she told her sister with a smile. ) I love you ( she whispered as she hugged as if it were the last time. )
Miley: ( she hugged her back tightly as she was and said to her. ) I love you too sis.

{End of Flashback}

Miley: (tears clouded her vision as she remembered the last time she hugged her sister and said "I love you" to her sister. she muttered to herself. ) I wish you were here.
Zac: ( he hugged her tightly as he notice her tears and whispered. ) It's time to go Miles.
Miley: ( she nodded and stood up wiping her tears away as she looked over at a picture of Demi and Logan. )
Demi: ( she was standing behind her picture and smiled at her sister while she blew her a kiss and mouthed " I love you too sis." )
Miley: ( for the first time she smiled a real smile and actually felt relief for her sister there not for seeing ghosts. she mouthed back "I love you and miss you Demi." )
Zac: ( once again he interrupted her thoughts. ) Miles, this is Taylor [Launtner], Vanessa's cousin and he will be staying with us.
Taylor: Nice to meet you Miley. ( he smiled at her. )
Miley: ( she whispered. ) Hey. (and lightly nodded her head. )
Vanessa: ( she smiled and nudged zac as she were telling him. ) See told you she would come around. ( she linked arms with zac. ) How about we go out to dinner? Zachary is inviting?
Taylor: ( who already invited herself chimed in. ) I think that's a great idea!
Zac: ( he raised an eyebrow. ) I guess everyone is invited.
Nick: ( he was quickly to shook his head. ) It's okay Zac, we didn't mean to be a bother and ignore Taylor."
Vanessa: ( she shook her head. ) Nonsense the more the merrier and besides ya'll were Demi's friends too.
Zac: ( he nodded in agreement. ) Ness is right and I'm pretty sure that Miley would want ya to come. ( he turned to her. ) Right?
Miley: Right. ( she agreed as Tay linked her arms with her. )
Selena: ( she smiled. ) Well in that case thanks.
Joe: ( he cleared his throat. ) Miley could we talk please?
Miley: ( she closed her eyes as she heard his voice. she couldn't believe that he was actually there and for some reason she felt confused and not happy. )
Zac: ( he glared at him, he had never understood why Miley was dating him in the first place. ) Miles, we will wait for you outside. ( he said looking at him one last time before walking out with everyone else. )
Miley: (she nodded at him and then turned to Joe. ) What do you want? And what are you doing here?
Joe: ( he grabbed her hands. ) I wanted to show you that I'm here for you whenever you need me.
Miley: ( she raised an eyebrow. ) What made you change your mine?
Joe: You're my girlfriend and I realized that I have been a jerk to you and for that I'm sorry. ( he told her. )
Miley: What about Ashley? ( she wondered. )
Joe: ( he quickly shook his head. ) Mi, there's nothing going on with Ashley. She's my friend, just like she's your best friend.
Miley: I'm not sure about that anymore. ( she muttered under her breath, but loud enough for him to hear. )
Joe: I love you Miley. ( he confess sincerely. )
Miley: ( surprised. ) You love me?
Joe: ( he nodded and smiled. ) Of course I do Miley.
Miley: ( she was taken by surprise but smile otherwise. ) I love you too. ( i think, she thought to herself. )
Joe: ( he smiled big and kissed her deeply. ) We should get going you're brother is waiting fro you.
Miley: ( she slightly smiles at him as he intertwines their fingers and walks her out of the church. for some reason she still feels uneasy like if something was wrong. if she only knew this was just the beginning of her finding herself in a love triangle. )
