First day back to school. Everyone dreads it, but no one quite as much as the Liam.
Over the summer all the supernaturals of Beacon Hills had joined forces to drive the hunters out, which was Stiles' master plan. Malia suggested just hunting them instead but this seemed better on paper. The plan worked surprisingly well -there was no need for plan B- and the pack got a few weeks to chill and be 'normal' teens.
But that was all coming to an end; tomorrow was the first day back at school. Not only that, Liam now had to step up as Alpha while Scott and the other older members are away at college. Liam knew this is what he should be thinking about but his mind was stuck on someone he hadn't seen all summer; Theo.
After he'd helped the pack so much last year, Liam thought maybe he'd be welcomed into the pack. I mean, sure he had killed Scott but he saved Liam multiple times, surely that stood for something? But no, he was turned away with snarky comments and so, he did what Theo does best. He disappeared. Liam didn't know why he was thinking about the Chimera now since he'd had the whole break to let his mind wonder. His head was spinning with uncertainty. Why did he leave? Is he coming back? Why do I care? He couldn't come up with even one reasonable answer to any of his questions that night so he just lay, thinking about the brown-eyed chimera, unable to fall asleep.

authors note- hey guys so this is just a bit of background so you know what's happened in beacon hills since the end of season six. the chapters will mainly focus on Liam and Theo but will also focus on the other pack members!
