Minseol puts on her apron, washing her hands afterward.
She makes her way to the front, prepared to take orders for the morning. She hears the door open and greets the customer.
"Good morning, Minseol-ah~" The girl greets, walking closer to the counter.
"Good morning, Yeji. Will you take the usual?" Minseol asks and Yeji smiles sweetly.
"You already know me." She says, Minseol laughs at her reply.
"Okay then, I'll prepare your order in a bit. Sit down and I'll give it to you." She says, and Yeji nods.
Yeji goes to her usual seat, scrolling through her phone as Minseol prepares her strawberry latte that Yeji often drinks.
She inserts a straw and takes out a cake roll from the display counter. She cuts two slices and places it on the small plate.
She pulls out a tray and places the latter and plate on it with a fork and napkins. She gently takes it to Yeji's table.
"I didn't order a cake roll?" Yeji looks at Minseol with a happy confused face.
"Well, it's the special today. I want you to try it while I'm giving it to you for free." Minseol says,
Yeji laughs, taking a bite of the lemon-flavored cake roll. Her eyes widen and it turns into her sweet and gorgeous eyesmile.
"This is delicious! Thank you, Minnie~" Yeji waves her arms softly as she enjoys her meal.
Minseol smiles, going back to the counter to take more orders for that morning.
Minseol became busier as time passes by. She checks the clock and she has 2 hours left before her afternoon period starts.
"Excuse me, may I order a sweet potato latte, strawberry latte, peach latte, and..." She looks at the person speaking.
Her eyes slightly widened, finding the person in front of her very familiar.
He was looking at their menu. His blonde hair with his hair roots being brown colored.
He looks very handsome and he looked like he was around her age.
"And an iced Americano with no water and 4 extra shots of Espresso." Another boy appears beside him.
Minseol looked shocked by his order which made the other boy laugh at her reactions.
"Will you be fine?" She asks the boy who ordered the Iced Americano.
"I always will be fine. You look really fine yourself too." The boy winks at her which made her laugh.
"Stop flirting with every girl you see, Jaemin." The other boy says,
"No no- it's okay. I don't mind at all. Is that all you will order?" She asks, typing it on the cashier.
"Ah, we will take 3 slices of the rainbow crepe cake, 1 slice of the blueberry cheesecake and 10 macarons as well." The boy says,
"Okay then... You can sit down while waiting. I'll be giving you your orders soon. Is it take out or-"
"We will eat here. Our friends will come soon." Jaemin says, sending another wink at her.
Minseol laughs as the other snacks the arm of Jaemin.
"I'll be serving your orders soon then." She says and the two boys thank her.
She starts making the 3 lattes and Jaemin's Iced Americano. She places them on the tray as she grabs four plates for the cake slices.
She carefully places the cakes on the plate and put them on the tray. She grabs a box of macarons from the display and places them on the tray as well.
She carefully brings it over to the two boys.
"Here are your orders. I hope you enjoy them." She places them on the table, one by one before beginning to walk away.
"Wait!" Jaemin calls for her. She turns around, a soft and kind smile on her face.
"Yes?"
"Can I have your number?" Jaemin asks, confusing the other boy.
"I don't know, can you, Na Jaemin?" She smiles, slightly tilting her head as she says his name.
The two boys look at her in shock but she just smiles and walks back to the counter. She proceeds to prepare more orders.
