It really was a disappointment to know that they won't be able to spend Christmas together as they hoped.

While Minseol will be staying in Beijing, Renjun will be staying in his hometown. Both will be spending their Christmas with their dear families.

It was almost heartbreaking for them to not do what they wanted for Christmas.

Snuggling in each other's arms, drink warm drinks while watching movies, exchanging gifts, and watch the first snowfall.

The first snow where they would say I love you to each other, hoping their relationship would last a lifetime.

It truly was a disappointment.

◇─◇

Minseol could hear the cheerful, loud, and sweet voices of her family.

Christmas decorations were everywhere in their home. The decorated Christmas tree has been set up with presents already under the tree.

Christmas is only 4 days away and the only method she could talk with Renjun is via video call.

Minseol puts her phone down, waiting for Renjun's response to her message.

She looks up, the sky was completely covered with cloud, only small tints of blue could be seen if you look closely.

She closes her eyes, feeling the winter wind as it was making her slightly shiver.

Maybe being in a thin sweater and pajamas couldn't keep her warm, even if she's just staying in her home.

"Minseol, Chenle!" Her mother calls them,

The two siblings make their way to the kitchen where their mother is. She smiles at the sight of her two precious children.

"You two should get dressed in warmer clothes. We'll be going to the district to buy things!"

◇─◇

Minseol lets out a deep breath, noticing the white fog escaping her lips.

She feels cold, even with the jacket and mittens on, she still feels cold. Her being sensitive to cold seasons only added up as well.

She looks around, sighing once again when she realizes that she has been separated from her family.

Her older brother isn't in sight, his mother and Chenle as well. She was alone and she couldn't help but feel anxious.

Sure, she knows the shopping district like the back of her hand, however, it was very crowded. It would be hard to get through hundreds of people.

Anxiety and nervousness creep into her stomach as she walks around. Even if she was in public, anything could happen.
