The next day...

(Your POV)

I had woken up to see that Gaege wasn't laying next to me anymore. I freaked out a bit and heard talking and laughing downstairs. I smiled and picked up my phone. There were many messages. All from.... James.. I haven't looked at my messages since I got here.
"Where are you?"
"Did you leave me?"
"I'm coming to the airport."
"I know you went back to Australia."
"Fuck. The plane. I know you're on there."
"I'll find you."

And that was the last message. I got really scared and ran down the stairs into the kitchen. It had been remodeled. I guess me running into the kitchen alarmed all the guys because they all stopped talking and looked at me. Gaege looked worried. I calmed down and walked in nonchalantly. There was french toast and syrup on the counter. "Mmmm." I hummed. I looked at Josh and he smiled. Josh was always the master in the kitchen. I smile back. "Why did you run into the kitchen?" Eddie asked. I looked at him, then to Gaege. He had a look on his face that made me sad. "I woke up and looked at my phone." I pull out my phone and put it on the table for them all to read. "Shit.." Mully and Narrator said. "We'll keep you safe, Y/N." Eddie said to comfort me. I looked at Gaege, and I expected him to be looking at me, but he wasn't. He was looking out of the kitchen window with a concentrated angry look. "Gaege." Josh asked while waving his hand in front of his face. His eyes turned back to normal and he smiled. "Yes?" He asked. "You ok?" Josh asked. "Yes. I'm fine." Gaege never says the word 'Yes'. He always answers with 'Yeah?' or a 'hmm?'. I was worried. I knew Eddie had known Gaege since they were little. I look at him and he had the same look on his face as I did. Eddie noticed me looking at him, and smiled. I did too but I wondered what Gaege was thinking...

*Time skip a couple hours*

(Your POV still)

We were all downstairs just playing VR and laughing. Narrator had just gotten done talking when we all heard a noise upstairs. All of our heads snapped towards the stairwell and back at eachother. "Ok. What the fuck was that.?" Josh asked. Gaege looked at me. He looked so worried. "Mully." Gaege said. He looked to Gaege. "Stay here with Y/N. You too Eddie." Gaege finished and Eddie and Mully looked at me. They got up and sat on either side of me. Narrator, Josh, and Gaege all stood up and walked up the stairs carefully. They were up there for about 10 minutes just walking around. Eddie, Mully and I started to get worried.

(Gaege POV)

After we were done searching, we found nothing. We all met up at the top of the basement stairs. "I didn't find anything." Josh said. "Me either. Nothing was upstairs." Narrator said to me. I nodded. "I thought I saw something, but my eyes have been playing tricks on me for years, so." I told them. They looked kinda worried, but that look went away fast. (During this I was listening to the No-no square song by Josh and Juicy. 😂😂) We all walked down the stairs to see Mully, Eddie and Y/N all staring at the stairwell. When we hit the bottom, they all sighed a sigh of relief. "Did you find anything?" Mully asked. "No. We didn't." I responded. Y/N looked happy. I walked over and Mully stood up, letting me have my seat back. Y/N gave me a hug when I sat down. "Hey, since this house is closest, we would always stay here when we hang out.. if James comes looking for her, we should be at someone's house where he didn't know where we live?" I tell them all. "How about my house? He definitely doesn't know where I live." I ask. Y/N looked at me and nodded. I looked at the other guys. Eddie and Mully were looking at me mischievously. I give them a look that says, 'stop'. And they just smile and giggle slightly. I look at Narrator and Josh. They looked at me innocently, not knowing that I loved Y/N, and I felt bad about that. I need to tell them. "Narrator, Josh, follow me." I say while standing up. They stand up and follow me. I walk into the room next to us and close the door. "What's up?" Josh asks. I look at him and say, "I don't know if you guys have caught on, but I just needa clear this up. I'm in love with Y/N, so I have to protect her at all costs until James isn't a danger anymore." I say looking at the two of them. "Gaege.. of course we knew. With the way you look at her? I've never seen anyone look at someone like that. With the eyes you give her? Man.. It'd be surprising if you didn't." Narrator said. I sighed in relief as Josh put his hand on my shoulder. "And I think she likes you." He whispers as he opens the door and walks out. Narrator looked at me and nodded. I stood there in amazement when I heard a thump upstairs. I look at Narrator and Josh again. They look at me and then to the stairs. I ran out of the room and up the stairs and so did they. I ran to the room that was above the room downstairs. It was the back room. There wasn't anything. I was so confused. I turn to see Narrator and Josh standing there confused. "Ok. We gotta go now." They nod and turn around to go back to the stairs. I follow and go down the stairs. Y/N was sitting on the couch looking worried. "We're gonna be going soon, Y/N." She looked at me and nodded and smiled.

*Time skip half an hour*

(Narrator POV)

We were all upstairs about to leave. "Y/N." Gaege asked. She looked to him. "Are you ready?" He asked her. "Yeah, I am." She said happily. I opened the door and was surprised. The same guy from yesterday was at the door. Eddie turned around to look. "Why're you here again?" I asked. "Uh oh.." I hear Y/N say behind me. I turn to look at her. She looked scared. "SHE IS HERE!" The guy yelled.
