Tris, You're Alive!

Tobias' POV

         I break down, sobbing when Cara tells me Tris is gone. I take off running down the hallway, to the room Tris and I were in the other night. Once I got in there, I went straight to the couch, and cryed myself to sleep.

        The next morning I got up, and found Christina talking to Caleb about something. The thought of Caleb makes me sick right now. I got closer and found out they are holding a memorial service for Tris, my Tris outside at noon today. I look at my watch, it reads 11:27pm. A half an hour to go until I see my Tris.
Tris' POV
         I'm running up the stairs when I see a clock in front of me, it reads 12:00pm. I have to get out of here and find Tobias! David said they are holding a memorial service for me, so I know where Tobias is, I just have to find the service. Finally, I made it to the top of the stairs, and I can finally see light coming in from the windows. Then, I see two guards standing in my way of the door, so I take out my gun and shoot. Then, I see their bodies slump to the ground. I'm surprised nobody heard the gunshot! I run past their dead bodies and run to the front doors where I see a paper with my picture on it, and the time and place of my memorial service. It says the service is outside, so I run as fast as my feet will carry me.

          That's when I see Tobias, knelt down on his knees crying. No one is around us so I quietly make my way over to him, and put my arms around him. He stands up and turns to face me. He wears a look of shock and confusion as he wraps his arms around me.

        Then he whispers to me,"Tris, you're alive! How is this possible?"

        He pulls away from me, and I see tears streaming down his face.

      I tell him,"David held me hostage in an underground infirmary. When I was being escorted to my cell, I knocked the guard out and ran to find you. David said you would be at my memorial service. I missed you, Tobias!"

      "I missed you too, Tris! I love you! Never leave me again. I don't think I could handle it. I was close to committing suicide to be with you. I'm glad I didn't, because here you are. I love you so much!" He says as I wrap my arms around his neck and kiss him.

      "I love you, too! Let's go get the rest of the gang, and get out of here!"I say to him in between kisses.

      That's exactly what we do! We get Zeke, Christina, Uriah (who woke up yesterday), Caleb, and Cara, and we head back to the city. I finally get to go home!
