Are We Really Doing This?

Gabe's POV

"Gabe!", Sam yells in a whisper at me. "Heh um yes?", I whimper. He crosses his arms and gives me a bitch face. "You're going to adopt her? Couldn't we have talked about this first?". I looked at the ground, "I-i'm sorry Sam....", I whispered. He put a finger under my chin and lifted my face up, "Hey hey, it's okay babe. We'll work it out". I smile and grab his hand. Back home we go.

*3 hours later*

"Hey, I'm running to the store okay??", I call out to my boyfriend. "Okay baby, hurry up". I grab my wallet and head out the door. I walk down the street and make it to a Raley's. I do my shopping; bread, peanut butter, bagels, soda, and cereal. As I'm leaving the store I take my phone out of my pocket but I accidentally bump into someone.

"Oh! I'm so sorry!", I look up to see who it is. Shit. My ex Adam.... "Oh hey Gabe!!", he smiles. Ugh, I'm not in the mood for this. "Ha... yeah well I better be on my way...", I rub the back of my neck and point my thumb towards the door. "Oh yeah sure! See you around", he winks. Yuck. I shook my head and fast walked home.

Sam's POV

Where is that mofo? It's been like half an hour. Uggggghhhhhh I need a cuddle buddy. I groan loudly and plop onto my bed face first. A few moments later, I hear the door shut and I jump up to greet my boyfriend.

I run up and kiss him on the lips, "Ugh you were gone so long". He smiles during the kiss, "It was like 20 minutes". I shrug, "Still too long". He puts the food away and we both lay on my bed and play with each others hands and fingers.

"You're so cute, you know that?", I say with a smile. Gabe looks up at me with a confused face. "Uh what did I do?", he said with his brows furrowed. I chuckle, "You're just naturally cute. It's obviously a gift". I can see a blush creep up his cheeks. I lean in and kiss him on his pink, plump lips. I got more into it than planned and next thing I knew, neither of us had shirts on.

"Oh shit", I laugh, "That wasn't planned". We laugh together. He's so cute. "It seems you put me under a spell there", he looks up, "What spell?!". I bite my lip and look him in the eyes, "Your lips", I lean back in towards him and kiss him gently.

I pull away and he looks at me with disappointment. He's adorable. "So.... about Ash...", I begin until he cuts me off, "Look Sam, I'm so sorry about agreeing to that. I mean, I should have talked to you first but she just looked so hopeful and-". I cut him off by pressing our lips together, "You're rambling. And it's fine. We can do this". He gives me a weak smile. "Alright, well... I'm gonna take a shower now. Care to join me?", he winks. I jump up out of the bed, "Don't mind if I do".
