A/N: This chapter is a bit longer than I usually do, but it has some important stuff in it. Enjoy!
Chappie 8
I walk towards our room, but stop right in front of the door. Do I really want to go in there where Olivia and Iris are sure to question me? And I don't have to get ready now. The result show isn't until a couple of hours. I decide to snoop around.
BZZZ!
I pull out Harry's phone and look at it.
Liam: Can you tell Zayn and Niall to come also if you're not almost here yet?
Harry: sure
"I better get rid of this fast." I look at the phone. I have no idea why I stole it anyway. Most girls would say it would be an excuse to get his number, but I guess I just wanted to mess with him. Now that plan is starting to backfire on me.
I go through Harry's contacts and search for Zayn and Niall's names. I click on Zayn's first and tell him what Liam said and then I move onto Niall. I hesitate and stare at his number. I quickly shake out of it and tell him the same thing.
Just great. All five of the most loved boys that I hate (really it's only one) are going to question me on the light situation. Yay. I can feel butterflies churning in my stomach as Harry's phone beeps. It was just Zayn and Niall replying.
I hear footsteps behind me and I shove Harry's phone into my pocket, pretending to be walking to my room, which was a couple doors away. I see Zayn and Niall pass by, heading to Liam's room because he was just further down the hallway from me.
"Hey, Charlotte!" Niall calls out. I just smile back at him and I open the door. I find that neither Iris or Olivia were in here, to my relief. I grab a sticky note and a pen and go back into the hallway. I take out Harry's phone and press the note onto the back of the screen. *Found this. Thought you might want it back* is what I write on it.
I decide to give his phone back because it was becoming a pain in the butt to have around with me and I have to keep pretending that I'm Harry, which I didn't think of when I took his phone. I tip-toe outside Liam's door and set the phone down.
Since I am curious, and also because the conversation is about me, I thought it was right to eavesdrop a bit. And don't you tell me that is a horrible thing to do to THE One Direction, because if you're a true "Directioner" or whatever their fans are called, you would likely do this too.
"I don't think that Charlotte did it." That was Niall. I like him the best out of all of them. "I mean, how could she?"
"That is a good point," says Louis.
"I swear!" Harry shouts. Jeez, take a chill pill Harold. "I saw the way she smirked at me that night." I flinch at that. "Her face read 'now you guys have to pay for all the expenses! Mwahahahahaha!' "
"That's a little overboard," Zayn admits.
"And!" Harry was determined not to lose their interest. "She stole my phone! i don't have it!"
"She would certainly return it, Harry." Louis says.
"Ha," Harry snorts. "Sure she will. When it's smashed, mangled and broken."
"Ok," Liam takes control. "She probably wouldn't do that, but I do have my suspicions about what happened to the light set."
"I saw her sneaking around right before the show started." Harry states.
"Yeah, and then you made her bleed." Louis says in an icy tone.
"Hey!" Harry almost yells. "Who's side are you on?"
