Trixie smiled when she saw Katya buy a candy cane from the boys who were selling it on the street, only to hand it over later.
She had lost count of how many times she had smiled thanks to the blonde that day, either because of some of her nonsensical jokes or because of the way she tripped over words when she was so nervous. But no doubt her bigger smile appeared when the blonde took her hand delicately and then intertwined them, and although she didn't really feel any skin because they both wore gloves, that didn't stop her stomach from getting butterflies.
"I like how your hair looks today, you really look beautiful," Katya said with a smile before taking a blonde curl and turning it between her fingers.
"Thank you, I also like yours," she bit her lower lip nervously "In fact, I think you're the most beautiful girl in the whole place."
"Okay, there I know you're lying because you're the prettiest in the place," she smiled before placing herself behind her, hugging her around her waist, "It's too much..?"
It was perfect.
"No, I love it," Trixie laid her head gently on the Russian's shoulder, inhaling her essence "I'm having a lot of fun, it's been so long since I've been laughing like tonight... Thank you."
Katya surprised her by kissing her cheek gently.
"I'm glad to hear that; a girl like you should laugh every day."
As if by magic, a girl tripped over the ice skates making her fall amusingly, which made Trixie laugh, but she quickly covered her mouth because she hated the sound of her laughter.
"Hey, don't do that," Katya stood in front of her to take her hand slightly "I like your laugh."
The blonde arched an eyebrow before looking the other way, avoiding seeing her in the eye.
"It's horrible."
"Are you kidding?" the blonde forced her to see her eyes "What's good about having a common laugh when you can be completely different? I mean, who wants to hear Angelina Jolie laugh when you can hear Trixie Mattel?"
Trixie smiled before making her next move.
She took Katya by the neck of her jacket and stamped her lips with hers. It was audacious of her to think that the Russian woman wanted to do it too, but even at the risk of being rejected, she decided to kiss her Platonic love once and for all.
Trixie's lips were something else. At her young age, Katya had kissed enough girls to make sure she was a lesbian, but this girl was something completely different. Her lips tasted like cherries and fit perfectly with hers, it was as if they were created to be together.
"Wow..." Katya murmured as they parted but quickly found herself clumsily chasing the other girl's pink lips.
"I like you," Trixie said before kissing her gently "I like you so much."
"And I like you even more."
It wasn't the first time they say it out loud, but it was the first time they heard it between a kiss.
Katya separated slightly before seeing her better, her face glowing under the colored lights so that in her eyes there was a spark, she had never seen. She was so beautiful that she doubted she was real, so to prove it, she kissed her nose gently, making the cutest laugh slip through her lips.
"Baby," Trixie's heart beat to hear that nickname, "Be my girlfriend."
A dreamy sigh escaped from the lips of the other blonde before rubbing her lips against Katya's, and even without kissing her, the Russian could detect a smile in them.
