Dream's POV:
With my companions by my side, I tread through the thick forests, leaving crackling sticks beneath my foot. Just above the grove, should lie civilization. At least, according to the map."Are we there yet?!" George suddenly whined from besides me. Groaning sluggishly, he uncapped a bottle, taking a swig of water, "We've been walking for days!"
To my right, Sapnap just scowled, "Shut up, George! You've been complaining the whole time!"
He glared at the other, before yanking the bottle away, the brunette yelped in shock.
"And stop hogging all the water! You've downed like 5 bottles already, you cow!"
As the two bickered, I wordlessly pushed through the branches and leaves. The vegetation was awfully strong in these areas. Perhaps George was right.
Had we taken a wrong turn?
Just then, we came across a clearing, in which a visible path was splayed amongst the greenery. It was a shoddy, dirt road, although clearly man-made. Looking closer, wheel tracks were pulled over the trail. Some had been here.
The Kingdom of Youtubia should lie just above the horizon. The castle could probably be seen in the distance, 100 feet high, adorned with banners and carefully cut stone. A true mastery of a structure.
"We're almost there guys!" I called, just as the two began pulling at the bottle. Turning around, the jug dropped to the ground, splashing water against my legs. They had drenched my pants. Glaring over, Sapnap and George both pointed at one another, babbling the blame.
The sooner I get there, the sooner I leave these two alone.
Wilbur's POV:
Among the streets of Youtubia, stunning shades of red and pink were piled high. Each building was embellished with the lovely colors and flags. The 5th annual tournament had arrived once more.Ever since Techno announced he wouldn't marry anyone, unless they could defeat him in a duel, it's been tradition. Every year, a tournament was to be held, in which the winner could challenge him. And since then, its been failure after failure.
Standing from the balcony, his eyes seemed to bore into the celebration. The chatters of the crowd didn't seem to faze him one bit. Neither did the threatening looking competitors. He just looked over the city blankly, completely uninterested. I walked out to join his side.
"Excited?" I asked, placing a hand to his shoulder. He made no action to shrug me off.
"Why would I be?" Techno replied dryly, "The same things will happen anyways."
I chuckled a little, motioning to the red hood in his hand, "and yet, you're preparing to scope out the competition again."
A feint smile graced his face.
"You can't doubt people too much."
"You really can't," I responded. I found myself sighing after a moment, before turning to him.
"You know, Phil really wants you to get married. You've been dragging this for 5 years now."
For a brief moment, it was only silence. With a downcast look, Techno responded, "guess no one's good enough then. Phil will have to wait another 100 years."
I laughed at that, before smiling wistfully, "Maybe not, I have a good feeling about this year..."
He didn't respond, although his face was obviously screaming, "Highly doubt it."
Badboyhalo's POV:
"Bad!" A shrill voice called, bustling over to my booth. A short figure pushed through many of the bigger men, nearly knocking them over. They looked back, clearly disgruntled.
