A/N: So I know the recent uploads have been terribly slow, but I can explain! The past fews days have just been a mix of a busy schedule, lack of inspiration, wanting to change writing style, and schoolwork stress. I'm terribly sorry for such late uploads and I don't know if it'd change anytime soon, but I promise I'll try my best to speed up!

Third Person's POV:

"Where are you goin'?"

A low, questioning voice arose from a now-opened door. Dream sighed a little, fixing the last buckles of his brown strapped boots and pulled them upwards til it snuggly fit his foot. He turned over and glanced to the sight of his fiance, leaning against the wooden door frame with a white box in hand. He flashes a warm smile, as the other responds with a curious one.

"Just going to hop some roofs. You know the recent news about Bad..." Dream answered with a furrowing brow and deep-set frown. Exhaling, he looped a green cloak over his shoulder, "Need some fresh air."

The night prior, news of Bad committing treason hit the castle. His execution was set in a a few days from now, two days preceding before Skeppy's coronation. And while Phil wanted to rebuke it, Bad himself had sent a message where he full on admitted his crime and asked not to be defended. With that wish, even Skeppy was bound to respect it, although with much protest.

As the blonde popped on a light, ceramic mask, Techno set down his box and seemed to look away begrudgingly. He fiddled with the hem of his white sleeves, shifting sheepishly in place.

"Can't you just walk around the yard?" He murmured, voice hush and a little tense. Upon hearing this, his partner's shoulders stiffened for a second, before relaxing again. He smiled gently from beneath the obscuring mask.

Dream, with a glint of endearment in his eye, laughed, then cooed a little, "Oh come on now, I'm not fragile, Piglet."

Techno's face twisted in annoyance at the nickname, but quickly turned loving as Dream lifted a hand and stroked cupped at his cheek. Techno, acting almost like a clingy cat, leaned into it, pressing a light kiss at the palm.

"Yeah, I know. But you said that last time as well. I don't want somethin' like that to happen again."

Giving a light pull, Techno moved the blonde's hand, holding it by the wrist and giving a serious look to the other. By now, seeing the stoic look, Dream had a raised brow. He'd just realized the other was serious in their paranoia.

"Techno..." he uttered, almost warningly, "I get you're worried, but I'll be fine..."

Techno bit his lip.

"You don't know that. I don't want you to get hurt. Wait at least after the wedding?" His eyes were pleading, almost begging. And as tempting as it was, Dream was an untamed entity. You couldn't coop him if you tried.

"Techno! I haven't felt the thrill of running and hopping roofs for months now! Let me have this!"

"You can and you will, but it's not optimal right not-"

Dream rolled his eyes, pushing past the other.

"Sapnap and George are going. I am going as well. It'll just be a village over, I'll be fi-"

Techno, still holding his lover's wrist, tugged gently.

"No. You can't leave." He blurted, voice firm and impassive. Dream let out a disbelief gasp.

"You think I can't protect myself?!" He lashed suddenly, yanking out Techno's grip.

Techno, startled by the outburst, looked up before biting his lip. He heaved a deep sigh, fingers toying erratically at his sleeves. He hated it when Dream got too passionate. It brought out the arrogance in him. And while most people would back out, Techno would never.
