Too Much Sugar Calls For A Dentist..

Why is there honking noise in my house? I'm sure my alarm clock didn't sound like that. Unless I was sleeping.... My eyes suddenly opened "on the road?" I said jumping out of the seat, I was in my car.

While Ron was sleeping on the back seat. I asked him with a confused and annoyed expression "do you care to wake up and tell me what are we doing here?"

"well you were drunk last night and were too heavy so I thought let me sleep here in the car with you to protect you "he said

" I don't need your protection kid I'm good on my own "I said giving him a teasing smile.

" who are you calling kid bro..? I have scored more home runs then you have."

"I'm sorry but I'm not a escort like you are" I said with sarcasm.

"hmm.. So tell me where would you like to have breakfast? " he said while coming to the driving seat.

" I think-" not very soon I was cut off by Ron.

"we are going to the cafe."he started the engine and drove off.

"a coffee and a chicken sandwich" I gave my order.

"make it two "Ron said. And with that the waiter left.

" meeting at 10 tomorrow, don't be late.." Steve messaged me, wtf?! That reminded me my project wasn't ready..

"hurry up I need to go home " I said to Ron picking up my coffee in one hand with sandwich in my mouth.

" what is it? Well I remember putting off the gas stove this time... So it can't be a fire" he said proudly.

"no dumbass it's my project! I have not completed it yet and tomorrow is the presentation"

"well that is an urgent call " he quickly picked up his coat from the chair and followed me.

" I'm driving" I said rushing to the driver seat.

"that maybe not a good idea... "

" don't worry... Just don't forget to wear your seat belt "

I stepped on the gas and accelerated as hard as I could.

" do you mind going a bit slow? I wouldn't prefer dying today "

I didn't pay much attention to him but just gave him a evil smile.

We were home within 15 min, I sat down on the sofa, pulling out my laptop and I had no other option but to use my Facebook and Twitter account for conducting the survey, and the rest of the day went on doing my survey and Google all the stuff that was required.

" yeah I know you also used your Facebook account for that, even I voted for the Theme park cum mall thing."ok that wasn't expected. I thought she didn't know about this, well maybe most of the office new about it now.. I face palmed for my stupidity and continued to walk towards the conference room. Between all this pressure I totally forgot about our new boss. I sat down on one of the chairs with rest of my co-workers and was waiting for the boss to arrive.

"I'm sorry I'm late.. But im your new boss, Jessica, so without any more delay let's start the presentation " the girl who I thought was Mr. Ramson's secretary was actually my boss! I was dumbstruck.
