"brantley im open!!" kylie yells as she hits her hockey stick on the ice signaling she's open for the puck.
as kylie receives the puck she races down the ice towards the net spinning to miss on the opposing players. as she approaches the net she fakes right and shots the puck into the net.
all the guys race up to her and engulf her into an big hug and celebrate her forth goal of the game.
she turns to the stands and sees all the scouts writing down stuff on there clip boards. she smirks to herself as she is curious to what there writing down.

as the team shakes hands with the opposing team, the girl sees out of the corner of her eye two men speaking with her coach.
"scott, andrews and buckner come over here" The two boys and kylie look at each other as they skate away to there coach and two men.
"hello im the scout for team canada, and we would love to have all three of you very talented kids on our team! when you guys make your decision have your parents call us." one of the scouts say to us.
coach shoes the two boys away to where I'm the only one there with coach and the other scout.
"hello!! I'm don tibbles the sponsor for team usa! we would love for you to come and play for team usa for the junior goodwill games in los angeles with the ducks!" as then man in the suit says to me.
"would that even be aloud because im not living in america?" i ask being a little confused as to how that's supposed to work.
"we have it all worked out with the league. we also know that you played golf and hockey when you lived in New York, so your all good. just think about it kid this could be an amazing opportunity for you! and if you so decide that you are going to take the offer then have your parents call me because you'll be leaving in three days!" he says to me with a huge smile.
i smile at him and shake my head as i head to the locker room to get changed to go home.

as i make my way into the house and close the door behind me I walk into the kitchen and see my mom making sandwiches.
"hey mom! we won the game today and I've got some amazing news!!" i say and i make my way to the counter and pull out the chair to sit.
"so, there were scouts at the game and I got offered to play for team canada!" i say as i watch my mom finish up making the sandwiches.
"that's amazing sweetheart!! are you going to take the opportunity?" my mom asks me as she sits the plate in front of me.
"well there was another scout that invited me to play for team usa. but i don't know if i should take it or not." i answer as I take my sandwich and take a bight of it.
"you have to know what you want to do. your dad and i will support you with either decision you make!" my mom says as she sits next to me.
as i think about my decision i think about my best friend brantley and lance as they made team canada but not usa. What if they are mad that I picked usa over canada? they should be able to understand if I pick usa right?
"i've made my decision. i'm going to be the next player for team usa!!!!" i say with excitement as my mom comes up and hugs me.
"yay!! i'll call that don tibbles guy and tell him that you have made up your mind to play for usa!" my mom says as she pulls out her phone to dial the number to call him.
"okay mom, i'm going to go upstairs and call kaylee and tell her the news! i should also start packing some clothes." i yell from the front of the house as I make a running start up the stairs.
as i open my door to my room i make my way over to my closet and grab my carry on bag and all my suit cases.
i know we're going to be there for a month or so but I wanna have back up clothes for if i spill food on them, i just simply want to make sure I have cute outfits planned out.
i lay out my three suit cases on the ground and grab the phone next to my night stand and dial my best friend kaylee's number.
"hello? i hear kaylee ask. "hey kaylee it's kylie! i have some good news! I MADE IT ON TEAM USA'S JUNIOR HOCKEY TEAM!!" i scream into the phone with excitement.
"yasssss!! omg i'm so exited for you!! when are you leaving cause i wanna make sure i can help you pack and stuff?" she asks. "well i'm packing right now but maybe you can come over tomorrow and help me pack one of my suit cases. you know I have to have a few." i say to my best friend.
"okay, i'll ask my mom but i've got to go because i need to take a shower but I'll call you tomorrow!" kaylee says as i say goodbye.
i turn to all my suit cases and think about some cute outfits i could pack. i walk over to my closet and pick out my tank tops and short sleeve shirts. i place those in my suit case and grab a few t-shirts for pj's and throw those into the suit cases.
let's just say that's how my whole night went. i ended up packing two out of the three suit cases so kaylee could end up helping me pack the last suit case.
