It was the photo you took of Dazai and Chuuya, it was when Chuuya first joined the port maffia, thats when you expected they liked each other. A few minutes after the photo was taken they started biting each others heads off. You chuckled slightly at the thought of it, you heard the door creak and turned around to see Lucy poking her head through. Her red braids dangling and glowing in the light pouring through the window. You put the photo down on the bed and looked at her.
"hi...." you said ignoring her eyes.
"Can i tell something" She said sitting down on the bed looking up at you, you looked at her meeting the gaze of her green eyes.
"Whats wrong?" You said sitting down on the corner of the bed pushing you're back against the bed frame. She took a deep breath in trying to control herself.
"Promise you won't hate me." she said looking up and you, and you nodded in return curios to hear what she had to say.
"I-I I... I... I THINK I LIKE YOU!" She said clutching her fiststogether, she yelled it out. You sat there in shook Ah yes "shook" the most exquisite type of shock you couldn't believe it, no you wouldn't believe it. She was going to use you like Toga did. What was she thinking its only been a few weeks no, no, no, NO!
"I-I'm sorry." You said as you hopped off the bed and out of the room closing the door behind you.
You speed-walked to the girls bathroom. And roughly placed you're hands on the edges on one of the sinks, you looked yourself in the mirror for the first time in what seemed like years. It wasn't even you, your reflection was like a stranger. You were like skin in bones from being malnourished, you're h/c hair was matted, your eyes had lost all the light from them. You looked alive but barely alive, like a zombie. Your cheekbones stuck out, when you used to have quite baby face. Your arms were covered in cuts and scars, faints bruises were covering your arms, legs, and neck.
"Fuck." You said laughing to yourself "I look rough ew."
You had always been insure about the way you looked tw** when you were younger you were scared of gaining weight so you starved yourself. But now looking at your small and skinny body you still looked fat and ugly even though you could easily wrapped your hand around your wrist and have an inch of wiggle room. Before hand you couldn't do that so you are now very underweight You sighed and walked out the bathroom to be greeted by Mina. Her pink skin looked paler then usual and her eyes seemed dull. Apparently her and Chuuya were close so his death would have taken a toll on her.
"Hey Y/n" she called but you had already turned the corner, you needed to leave get out of here back home.

You had ran away from the school looking for somewhere to disappear forever. You couldn't deal with this you knew you had hurt Lucy but what else could you do? what if she used you... You passed a cafe and inside you saw Ochako, Lucy, Tsu, and Momo inside. It looked like they were comforting Lucy from her recent rejection. You're heart ached for a moment then it passed, did you like her? NO snap out of it she'll use you. She already dislikes you. You found an abandoned building at the edge of the city. You explored the floor boards all creaked at any pressure, there was cobwebs on the walls. You heard a mouse squeak across the floor into a little whole in the wall. It looked like an office building, there was stairs. You walked up to the top of the stairs and pushed open the door to the roof. you had to climb up 9 flights of stairs to get there. The wind got you by surprise and the hair on your legs stood up. You walked around and sat on the edge of the roof. you looked to the side and saw Dazai starring at you, you looked away ashamed, he hated you. He wanted nothing to do with you. He scooched over towards you, and just sat there quietly, it was like when you first met him. You didnt know each other, and thought you were going to replace each other.
"I have a question for you..." You turned your head towards him "Do you want to die, as much as i do?" You didnt even hesitate with your response
"Yes, always have. I don't like life, i want it to end forever even if i hurt people, i want to die so badly, and i feel bad about it everyday." You said watching your legs dangling off the side of the building.
"Would you ever comment double suicide with me?" he said tracing circles on the concrete, you looked at the sun that had started to set, and took a deep breath.
"Yes." You said softly, he would probably be shocked but that would be okay with you. You looked back at him and he had already stood up, he reached out his hand asking for you to take it. You grabbed his hand and he helped you to your feet.
"Why do you want to do it now?" He said looking at the sunset
"I want it to go away, all of it. The pain, the suffering." You said intertwining his fingers with yours "i thought id be scared but I'm not... I'm at peace with killing myself."
"I am too, I want to be with him.." He smiled as tears poured down his face, you raised your hand and wiped them away with the edge of your sleeve.
"I'm sure he wants to be with you too. He loves you after all. I'm happy you found each other, even though it was short. I could you two couldn't live without each other. You loved each other." You smiled, Dazai grabbed your hand and nuzzled the side of his face into it.
"I'm happy I knew you, you saved my life. But I'm also glad I get to end it with you by my side." Dazai said before embracing you tightly "I'm scared Y/n." He said softly while playing with your hair
"You don't have to do this..."
"But it's like a nervous excitement, that's been building up inside me for years. And it's finally going to happen." He chuckled
"Maybe in our next lives you, Chuuya, and I will know each other just not under the circumstances we were. An you two will fall in love all over again. I'm excited for then." You said squeezing him tightly.
"I love you." He said calmly "and I'm ready."
"Me too." You replied
You both rocked back and forth on the edge of the wall, until you both fell sideways and into the open air. It felt like time had frozen in place, the two of you embracing while falling 9 stories. You looked at Dazai and you both smiled and let out small laughs knowing this would be the last time you ever saw each other in this life. The wind blew and the sound hurt your ears slightly but this was the happiest you'd been in months maybe even years. Memories flashed before you. When you first met Dazai, the day Chuuya joined the port mafia, when you found out they were dating, somehow ending up here, meeting Bakugou, having you're first kiss, falling in love, and now dying. Tying it all together in some sort beautiful way.
"I'm gonna miss you." You said nuzzling you're head into Dazais neck
"Me too." He said softly before planting a kiss on your cheek before you two hit the ground.
............. soooo that happened before anyone asks Dazai and Y/n loved each as friends not in a romantic way. But anyways I thought this would be the way I wanted to end the story originally by having them go back to the world of bsd but guess what I didn't know how to do it. And I wanted the story to end like Dazai and Y/n felt like they had no reason to continue suffering with everything that happened to them. Also Toga does actually have real feelings for Y/n it's just that she's insane and doesn't know how to handle her feelings so she drew them. But you have to remember that Toga is an actual psychopath........ it's been fun but this is the end thank you to those who stuck around the entire time I'll see you later 👋 -mom
