Liam

I really wasn’t supposed to have snuck off from the other boys after the concert but I really wanted to see if I could find the contest winners. We found out ages ago about the girls that won and I thought it’d be a nice surprise for them if I could find them.

I guess I couldn’t have expected the way they reacted though; after I caught them off guard the winner of the competition – Alex I think her name was – ran off back into the arena to talk to somebody. Us boys are so used to being mobbed and just being treated differently to normal guys that having a girl run away from me essentially was strange to grasp.

She probably didn’t mean it in the sense that my brain was putting it together as, nevertheless it was weird. And now we all had to wait for her to get back before I could take them all to meet the other boys. I had a bit of a feeling already that we’d all get along well; it was always really nice when you met fans that you could just forget entirely were fans, and treat them like you would your friends, and that’s the way it seemed to me so far.

Zayn

“Boys I’d like you to meet the contest winners. This is Alex, Katelyn and Naks. Girls you know the boys obviously.”

Liam had been gone for at least fifteen to twenty minutes and we were all starting to get worried, that was until he showed up with the girls. I could already tell that I was gravitating towards Katelyn, she was the only blonde girl of the three and after Perrie my type only really consisted of blondes.

Perrie and I broke up a little while ago now. We were still friends in the sense that for our public image it would look much better if we were kind to each other, but behind closed doors we didn’t talk unless it was absolutely necessary.

“Sorry that I was gone for so long by the way, Alex here actually ran off when I showed up.”

“Bit of a hit to your ego there Liam? I didn’t run away from you, I was going to stop someone before they left the concert that’s all.”

“Oh that’s right, the small erection sign holder! Did you tell them I said hi?”

“Damn I knew I’d forgotten something! How about I call him later and tell him?”

“WAIT WHAT? ALEX YOU GOT SOMEONE’S NUMBER? AND THEY WERE A HE? WAS HE HOT?”

“Katelyn calm down we’re in public. But yes he was attractive, I swooned a little.”

Katelyn

It was so unlike Alex to do what she’d just done. She didn’t usually run up to people she’d never met before to talk to them, let alone get their numbers. I’m so proud of her though, every little step outside her comfort zone is an accomplishment.

Now that we were in the room with the actual One Direction standing in front of us I was really worried I’d start rambling. Apparently when I’m nervous around boys I ramble, like a lot, so I’m just trying to bite my tongue as much as possible and save myself some embarrassment. And hopefully if I start Alex will very subtly tell me to stop.

Our meeting with the boys was only supposed to last around a half hour and for the better half of that time I just stood with Zayn discussing our tattoos. He had so many now, like they pretty much covered every inch of available skin that you could see – I myself had a few and I was planning on getting more.

Every time I looked around the room not much had really changed from the last time I looked. Naks was talking to Louis and Niall, the latter of which was staring at her so intensely I’m sure she could feel his eyes burning into her. Liam, Harry and Alex were hanging around the room talking to each other and every so often breaking off and talking to other people in the room.

I didn’t realise how fast the time had gone until some security or something came in to tell us we had to leave.

“Wait no, do you girls want to hang out with us some more?”

Niall

People tell me sometimes that I don’t think before I speak. I’m like that a lot in interviews especially, and it lands me in some pretty awkward and unexplainable situations. Today is just another of those situations though, because when I yell out that the girls should hang out with us some more I get some really unpleasant looks from our management.

My suggestion was on my part really selfish. I was getting along really well with Naks, probably better than I’d gotten along with a girl that I didn’t know in a while, and I figured my idea would give me some more time with her.

“Niall that’s really nice of you. Katelyn and Alex, what do you reckon we should do?”

“It’s totally okay with me, and I’m sure Katelyn wouldn’t mind, I mean have you seen how comfy her and Zayn look?”

“That’s true. Well Niall if it’s cool with everyone else I don’t see why not.”

Now all I really had to do was convince everyone else that this was a good idea, and then work out what we’re all going to do. I need to somehow manipulate some alone time with me and Naks, see if there’s anything at all there, which means I need to get rid of everyone else. Like Alex mentioned her friend Katelyn and Zayn looked like they were getting close pretty quickly, so getting rid of them wasn’t going to be too much of an issue, it was everyone else I had to work on.
