Alex
I’d always been someone that almost always replied to text messages instantly. I never really saw the point in delaying a reply to make a point or to look uninterested. The difficult thing about that is that I was often glued to my phone, whether someone was replying or I was hoping they would.
“Alex why are you smiling at your phone like a madman?”
“None of your damn business Naks that’s why.”
“Someone’s in a sassy mood today huh.”
It was infinitely disappointing that I no longer had the ability to click with my fingers. I’m not sure you’ll ever understand the pain it causes me because of my stupid fingernails. Never again will I have the satisfaction of backing up a sassy comment with a finger snap in z-formation.
Harry
Don’t ask me why boys be mean to the girls they like; it’s just a fact of human nature. I wish I had the answers because it really is stupid; doesn’t mean I can stop myself from participating in the same behaviour.
That’s the excuse I’m going to go with to explain why I felt the need to rip Alex’s phone out of her hands. I just wanted her attention and her phone was keeping that attention from me, so I got rid of it?
“Harry what in god’s green earth are you fucking doing with my phone?”
“You and your phone need to take a break Alex, it’s time for you two to find new and interesting relationships that can fulfil your needs better.”
“My phone can fulfil my needs just fine and dandy but thank you for worrying. Seriously give it back, don’t make me chase you around this damn hotel room!”
Niall
It’s funny how childish people can act when they start to develop feelings for someone new. I can’t really fault Harry or Alex for that matter, because my dealings with Naks haven’t been the most adult.
My plan to get her alone last night failed miserably. I refuse to accept the fact that it wouldn’t have happened though, the timing was just really horrible. And now we have to leave in a few hours for Brisbane and I don’t think I’ll get another chance. Unless I can pull another stunt like I did yesterday…
“Hey Naks quick question.”
“Yeah Niall what’s up bud?”
“Would you and your friends come to Brisbane with me and the boys? Like if we could clear it with our manager and everything?”
“Um, I’d have to ask the other girls first. I’ll get back to you?”
Naks
Why did Niall insist on making my life hard? That is the ultimate question of the day. As much as it sucked knowing the boys were leaving later on it relieved some pressure. Not only would Louis be gone so I wouldn’t have the temptation but Niall would be gone as well so he wouldn’t have the temptation.
Now Niall wants us to come with him? Sure the idea in theory is great, and I’m sure the girls would love too, but I’m not so sure it’s the smartest idea Niall’s had. I’m just going to have to leave the decision up to Alex and Katelyn and hope that if we end up going things won’t get too weird.
I really don’t want to hurt Niall, like at all. I know how much it sucks when you have feelings for someone that doesn’t feel the same way about you and I wouldn’t wish that on him. All this feeling shit is just way too complicated right now, it’d be nice if it would just chill out for a while.
