Chapter VIII: Sammas Makes Peace

Hisa Sultanate had made their way to the city walls of Hastiya while the vampires where behinds them. Sammas had carried his father to his chambers within the Hisan Capital and ask his father for his blessing. The Sultan had told his son Sammas that the Vampires were paid to kill the Sultan and take the Hisan Black Diamond. The Black Diamond was worth trillions of gold coins and the Dark Lord wanted it to create a power crown. However Sammas knew that the Diamond was worth his father's life which was death. Roneas and Aymar had help build a defense to fend off the vampires while the Sultan could get his medicine. Aymar had gathered any available veteran or soldier that could still fight the fight to protect the Sultan. Sammas couldn't help by watch his father struggle with his breathing and trying to grab onto things. Roneas had when into a old building to start a new Fighters Guild chapter within the city of Hastiya. Which was in fact needed the resources to stay alive throughout the war that cause it's city in extinction. Sammas was told that his brothers had all went against each other to become the next Sultan. But Sammas didn't care about being a lord nor an Emir under the Sultan. He wanted to protect his family and explore the realm as he choose to do. Such pain had already enter and have been witness by Sammas since he was a child. Sammas had made himself a promise to return to his homeland to keep the darkness away from his family. The Darkness would only put Sammas into fear while everyone around him would died of slavery or murder by the Dark Lord. Aymar had came into the dining hall were Sammas was sitting and began to speak with him. Aymar had share her past with Sammas and how she wanted to kill the Snake Emperor and Garynnon at one point of time. Sammas couldn't believe that Aymar would harm her brothers but once she had explain that she was adopted by their Uncle. Who had made her killed her own mother would had defeated and stood up against the Dark Lord at one point. He could understand that even someone with the power that Aymar can channel and possess could grow to hate someone that only wants to protect their love ones. Roneas had return to the dining hall to report that she had 4,000 that were training and picking up arms to fight against the vampires. Aymar had told Roneas that she would help with the training as well keep Roneas company. Roneas and Aymar had still some things that needed fix between them since she was under the mind control of Aymar.

However Aymar had made it up to Roneas in anyway possible and had taken extreme measures to create a friendship with her. But Aymar knew that Roneas was still somewhat fighting within herself since her failures to capture a murderer in her last trial. Sammas had made his way towards the door and realize that the Vampires were coming from the Valley of Moons. Sammas had ran towards the bell tower and rang the bell to alert the soldiers to be prepare to defend the city. Aymar and Roneas had every Fighters Guild members and recruits to fight them. Aymar had cast a spell to prevent them from coming into the city and summon her undead Feaqayi within the sewers underneath the city. Aymar wanted to surprise the vampires from behind but the vampires were also thinking the same way. Aymar had heard them within the sewers as a battle had began within the tunnel. Roneas has taken the second tunnel with fighters guild while pushing the vampires back towards the open entry to the Dystopian Ocean. Sammas and Ulam began fighting on the battlefield against unknown knight and vampire assassins. Ulam had duel the unknown knight and began to realize that the knight was an orc. Ulam couldn't recognize the armor or the shield that he was carrying. But the knight didn't have any skills to match his renown against Agturk Warrior. Sammas had saw a band of Yellowback Orcs again on the rise. The last time Yellowback Orcs had been seen were due to the Massacre of Agturk Clan. Ulam had knock down the unknown knight and remove the Orc's helmet. Ulam had realize that the orc was the son of Paku. Paku had died by the hands of Ulam during the end of the massacre than occurred. Ulam knew Thoax and began to drag back for questioning him. Thoax was terrified of the orc called Ulam and his reputation on the battlefield. Thoax had no choice back to fight against Republic Alliance since his clan was still ruled underneath the Dark Lord.
