Broken

This is a song fic, based on the song Broken by Jess Glynne.
This is the first song fic I've written so it might be crap.
The song lyrics will be in italics so it'll be easier to see what's the song and what's the story.

This will be written from Bucky's perspective

Also, quick warning: Anxiety attack (just at one part)

I had locked myself away in my room. This was one of those days when I'm feeling more low than usual. I just want to be alone.

I was lying on my bed, staring at the ceiling, when I heard a small knock on my door.

"Bucky," Y/n's soft voice calls from the other side of the door. "Open the door. Please."

I sigh quietly to myself, getting up off the bed and walking to the door.

I hesitate for a moment before unlocking the door and opening it.

Sometimes when the day go by
I've missed it because all I did was cry

I see a small frown appear on Y/n's face when she see's my tear-stained cheeks and puffy red eyes.

She doesn't say anything, she just pulls me in for a hug.
I gladly wrap my arms around her, feeling comfortable in her arms.

Always make me laugh somehow

I lead her over to my bed, where we lay down together, her head on my chest and my arms wrapped around her.

"I kicked Sam's ass at training again today." She says, bringing a small smile to my face. "He fell flat on his face, it was hilarious."

I let out a small laugh.

"I'll ask Tony to pull up the security footage to show you later." She says.

Later that night...

I felt someone shaking me awake from the nightmare I was having.

In a brief moment of panic and confusion, I grab whoever woke me, my metal arm was grasping their neck.

I quickly let go when I see the terrified look on Y/n's face.

"I'm so sorry." I mumble quickly as Y/n catches her breath.

"Don't worry." She says.

It's something that I'll never know
How you can love someone so broken, so right?

"Are you alright?" I ask her.

"I'm fine." She says. "It wasn't your fault."

"No, it was, I-"

"Shut up." She says and I stop talking. "I don't blame you."

"You shouldn't be with me, I'm too dangerous."

"Don't say stuff like that," Y/n says. "I love you. I don't want anyone else."
