Joshaya:Best Mistake

Chapter 1

Maya's Pov:
It's been three months since my mom had died in a car crash. Since then I have moved in with the Mathews. I share a room with my best friend ,Riley. Also tomorrow is Christmas Eve. It will be my first Christmas with Riley and her family. Right now school has ended and Riley and I are in the subway. Riley gets a text from her dad, Cory Mathew. After reading the text she look up at me with big eyes.

Maya: "What's wrong" I asked nervously .

Riley: " Nothing it's just that my Uncle Josh is coming and I'm so exited to see him!"she said

Oh Ya I remember Joshua when we were little kids. I used to have a crush on him because he was so cute.

Maya: " Oh that's great " I said to Riley

Right when I saved that the subway stopped and it was time to get off.

When we got home we saw Riley's mom making food for tomorrow. The day went fast and it was night time . I couldn't stop thinking of Joshua . I was wondering how he would look like. I saw the time and it was 1:30 and I went to sleep.

It was Christmas Eve and Riley and I got changed, ate breakfast and help decorated the Christmas tree. Riley and I were tired so we sat down in the kitchen table. Suddenly we heard someone nock at the door . Mr. Mathew opened it and I saw Riley's grandparents. We all said "hi" to them.

Riley: "where's uncle Josh?" She asked

Riley's Grandfather:" He will be here any minute"

Just then a boy with brown hair and brown eyes walked into the room and , boy , was he hot. I think I might like him a little.

Riley: " UNCLE JOSH" Riley said while going up to him and hugging him

Maya: " UNCLE JOSH" I said while hugging him.

Josh: " I'm not your uncle Maya?" Josh said looking down at me with his brown eyes

Maya: " Even better " I said as Riley pulled me away.

Josh: " It's been a while" he said to me

Maya: " Sure has " I said to him

Josh: " Well, boy you grew up gorgeous " he said to me while he was walking to the kitchen .

Riley just looked at me with a confused face. Then the door ran again .
