3rd person PoV:
He couldn't think, he couldn't breath properly, his body felt numb.
In my eyes, indisposed
In disguises no one knows
Hides the face, lies the snake
In the sun, in my disgrace
Boiling heat, summer stench
'Neath the black the sky looks dead
Call my name through the cream
And I'll hear you scream againEddie lay down on his mattress as he listened to the song play in the background, the rhythmic sound of his teardrops falling to his pillowcase as if mimicking the sound of the music.
His body restricted his right to feel any emotions besides sadness and pain after the news that he had just heard. With every image of Chris that entered his mind, a wave of sadness enveloped him as quickly as a wave would when falling of his surfboard and a new batch of tears fell from his eyes, tap, tap, tapping against his pillowcase like raindrops hitting against an umbrella.
Eddie let out a shaky sigh that held back a restrained sob as he listened to the beautiful sound of his deceased friends voice. Staring up as the ceiling in a state of shock as if he couldn't hear the sounds of his bandmates knocking loudly at his door. He could only focus on his voice. Chris's voice.
Black hole sun
Won't you come
And wash away the rain
Black hole sun
Won't you come
Won't you come (won't you come)Eddie lay there numbly as the words played around in his mind and leaked more tears from his eyes, staining the skin on his cheek and dampening the fabric on his pillowcase. He didn't care, he did not wipe away the tears, he did not throw his pillow aside or control himself. If his friend had do go through all of that pain then he could feel a little too.
Stuttering, cold and damp
Steal the warm wind, tired friend
Times are gone for honest men
And sometimes far too long for snakes
In my shoes, a walking sleep
And my youth, I pray to keep
Heaven sent hell awayEddie finally let out a sob as he focused on the next line that was sung.
No one sings like you anymore
And he couldn't think, he couldn't breath properly, his body felt numb.
Then the door slammed open.
Part 2?
