Stark's Little Stardust

You sprint down the stairs, the sound of your tiny feet echoing against the walls of the grand Stark mansion. At the bottom, you come to a sudden halt, your eyes gleaming with mischief as you spot your dad, Tony Stark, engrossed in his work at the lab.

"Boo!" you shout, launching your surprise attack.

Tony jumps back dramatically, pretending to be frightened. "Oh my goodness, sweetie, you scared the shit out of me!" he exclaims, clutching his heart as if you'd given him a real scare.

You smirk, knowing exactly what's about to happen. "Shit?" you ask innocently, feigning confusion as you mimic his tone.

Tony's eyes widen in mock horror. He quickly covers his mouth, realizing he just walked into a trap. "No, kiddo, that's what your mom says. You and I are forbidden to say that."

You giggle uncontrollably, relishing the banter. "But daddy, you just said a bad word! I'm gonna tell Mummy!" You playfully stick out your tongue at him, your eyes sparkling with delight.

He nods his head in exaggerated mock hurt, his expression shifting to one of playful betrayal. "You little snitch! That's only for your mum to say; you don't get to say that."

You grin mischievously, proud of your tiny victory. "But it's so much fun!"

Tony shakes his head with a chuckle, standing up and walking toward you. "Alright, alright, it's past your bedtime. Come on, sleepyhead, off you go to bed now."

You groan dramatically, rolling your eyes. "Ughhhh, fineee."

With a reluctant sigh, you follow him upstairs, your little feet dragging against the carpet as you walk. You can't help but steal glances at him, admiring how he effortlessly blends being a superhero with being a dad. The stark contrast between his high-tech world and the sweet innocence of your childhood never ceases to amaze you.

When you reach your room, Tony grabs a couple of juice pops from the fridge, and you both sit on the floor, happily slurping on the sweet treat. The colorful wrappers crinkle as you unwrap them, a symphony of excitement filling the air.

As you lick the juice pop, you look up at him, your eyes wide with anticipation. "Bedtime story, Daddy?" you ask, your voice sweet and hopeful.

Tony looks down at you, pretending to think for a moment before saying with a mischievous smile, "Once upon a time, a little girl went to bed and slept. The end." He grins, clearly proud of his "story."

You blink at him, unimpressed. "That is one horrible story," you declare, crossing your arms defiantly.

He bursts into laughter, the sound rich and full, echoing around the room. "Oh, come on! You love it! Now off to sleep you go."

As you finish your juice pop, he leans down, planting a soft kiss on your forehead. It's a simple gesture, yet it makes your heart swell with warmth and comfort. You look up at him, your eyes shining with love.

"I love you 3000," you say, the words spilling out with a sincerity that fills the room.

Tony chuckles, amusement dancing in his eyes. "Wow, that's plus one for me to make your mum jealous," he replies, feigning a dramatic swoon, as if your love were a weighty gift he must carry.

You laugh, your heart fluttering at the playful exchange. "You better not! Mummy might get mad at you!"

He raises an eyebrow, a mock-serious look on his face. "I'll take my chances. Besides, it's my job to make your mum jealous, right? And to make sure you're having fun."

You giggle at the thought. "Daddy, you're the best at that!"

Tony leans back against the wall, crossing his arms. "You know, when I was your age, my dad used to tell me stories about flying cars and robots taking over the world. Maybe I should tell you one of those instead."

Your eyes widen with excitement. "Robots? Like Iron Man?"

"Exactly!" He winks at you. "But these robots weren't like me; they were wild and sometimes got a little too... adventurous."

You lean closer, eager to hear more. "What happened? Did they get caught?"

"Well," Tony starts, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper, "they were so busy having fun that they forgot about the rules. So, they ended up having to outsmart the people trying to catch them. They turned the tables, using their wits and skills. And, of course, they had an incredible adventure!"

You nod vigorously, your imagination running wild. "Did they win?"

"Of course! They always win. You see, kiddo, it's all about believing in yourself and using your brains." He grins down at you, his eyes twinkling with pride.

You ponder this for a moment, taking a big slurp of your juice pop. "So, I can be a robot too if I believe?"

Tony chuckles again, ruffling your hair. "Absolutely! You can be anything you want to be, as long as you keep dreaming big."

Feeling a rush of confidence, you smile brightly. "I want to be an Iron Girl!"

"That's the spirit!" Tony exclaims, standing up and striking a superhero pose. "Now, off to bed, my little Iron Girl. You have a big day of saving the world ahead of you tomorrow!"

You giggle, knowing it's true. "Okay, okay, but you have to promise to tell me more robot stories tomorrow, alright?"

"Deal," Tony says, heading to the door. "Sweet dreams, little stardust."

As he turns off the light, you snuggle into your blankets, a smile plastered across your face. The warmth of your dad's love wraps around you like a cozy blanket, making you feel safe and cherished.

"Goodnight, Dada!" you call out, your voice soft but full of joy.

"Goodnight, sweetheart," he replies, his voice fading as he walks away, leaving you in the peaceful comfort of your dreams, ready to become the hero of your own story.
