OMNISCIENT

"Sorry, I'm late Tzu!" Xiling rushed in and sat on the seat across Tzuyu.

"Is um... Jungkook not here with you?" Tzuyu asked while looking at the direction where Xiling just came from. Xiling shook her head after taking a sip of the tea she had brought.

"No... Why?"

"Oh, I just thought that you guys would like to plan your wedding together..." Tzuyu explained.

"Ah, I see... He's busy right now. But he said I can decide first and I can just tell him after."

"Oh... Kay." Tzuyu mumbled before grabbing her pen and getting ready to write in her notebook. "So what kind of theme would you like for your wedding?"

•••

"Thanks, Tzu!" Xiling exclaimed and engulfed her cousin into a hug.

"Of course... Anything for you!" She replied and smiled weakly. "Anything for you..." She muttered to herself while waving back at Xiling who halted and turned around to wave at her before leaving.

She was about to leave too but she accidentally tripped on her shoelace, even though she wobbled a bit she still managed to regain her balance and stand up straight. She sighed before going on one knee and tying her shoelace.

"Is this yours?" A hand reached out in front of her while holding a handkerchief. Her eyes widened when she saw her name sewn onto it and held onto it while standing up then stared into the stranger's eyes.

"Yes, thank you! I thought I lost it!" Tzuyu said while gripping onto her handkerchief tightly. "Wait a second... Have I seen you before?"

"Yes, you were the girl that bumped into me a few days ago... Right?"

"Oh yes, I'm still very sorry about that... Um, is the stain gone now?"

"Yup, no trace of it is left." The man smiled while pointing at his suit, Tzuyu just nodded and assumed that it was the same suit he was wearing the other day.

"So is your name Zhou Ziyu?"

"Ah, yes. That's my Chinese name." Tzuyu tried to stifle a giggle because of his pronunciation, she managed to but couldn't stop herself from smiling.

"Is that not how you pronounce it? I swear he told me that is how you say it though..." He mumbles while scratching his head.

"Yes, that's how you pronounce it... It's just your pronunciation is a bit off, but it's quite understandable since my Chinese name is not that easy to be pronounced." Tzuyu laughed out loud this time and the man just smiled at her. "So, what's your name?"

"Ah, me?"

"Of course, who else?"

"My name's Kim Mingyu."

"Hi, nice to meet you Mingyu. I'm Zhou Ziyu." Tzuyu introduced herself and this time Mingyu laughed because he noticed the difference between how he said her name and her saying her own.

"Pleasure to meet you too, Ziyu." Mingyu smiled before shaking Tzuyu's hand and Tzuyu returned the smile back.

•••

"What?! Wow, this is some crazy love story..." Mingyu exclaims before sipping onto his drink again. "So you're saying... You're a wedding planner and you're going to be planning your cousin's wedding and what's even shocking is that your cousin's fiancé is your ex-boyfriend that still loves you?! What the- This sure is some cliché shit... But I like it."

"How did you even say that all in one breath?" Tzuyu giggled at him.

"I don't know, I guess you can just call me a legend." Mingyu leaned back onto his seat and crossed his arms against his chest while chuckling.

"Okay, legend."

"So... You're saying... Your cousin's name is Xiling and your ex-boyfriend is Jungkook?"

"Yeah, you know them?"

"I know a Jungkook..." Mingyu says and sees Tzuyu widen her eyes. "I'm not sure if it's the Jungkook you're talking about. If it is, don't worry... I won't tell you're cousin."

"But honestly, we might know the same Jungkook. I remember him talking about him getting engaged and about to have a wedding. I haven't received an invitation though..." Mingyu gasped before continuing. "What if he didn't invite me?! Oh, this jer-"

"I think he did. It's just the invitations aren't out yet, I'm preparing them. They'll be sent in a few days. Wait a second, I'll check if you're on the list..." Tzuyu cut him off and turned on her phone to check her messages with Xiling. Xiling had given her a list of people her and Jungkook had decided to invite an hour ago.

"Kim Mingyu. Kim Mingyu. Ki-" Tzuyu pointed a finger at her phone and proceeded to scroll while eyeing all the names on the list. "Aha! Found it! Kim Mingyu, this is you right? There's no other Mingyu or-"

"Yes, it's me." Mingyu nodded and let out a laugh. "Oh well, now I won't have an excuse to punch Jungkook."

"Why do you want to punch him?"

"Ah, I see... You're starting to be protective huh?" Mingyu asked while pointing a finger at her and wiggling his eyebrows, Tzuyu looked outside at the window while her face was starting to heat up. "It's because... He punches me all the time." Mingyu answered and when Tzuyu turned back to face him she saw him pouting and crying.

"Oh my, are you okay? Are his punches that hard?!" Tzuyu went to the seat beside him and patted his back.

"Kidding!" Mingyu lifted up his hands from his face and laughed at her.

"Yah! You should be an actor... I actually believed it..." Tzuyu punched his arm lightly.

"Well, surprise surprise! I am an actor." Mingyu said proudly while Tzuyu dropped her jaw and looked at him in shock.

"You sure are full of surprises..."

"Flies are going to fly in if you don't close your mouth soon." Mingyu's hand went to Tzuyu's jaw and closed it. Tzuyu then realised how close their faces were and quickly leaned back while staring at every part of the café, then her eyes landed on the clock hanged up on the wall.

"Oh shit, look at the time! I have to go now sorry. We can chat on another day!" With that Tzuyu held onto her bag and ran out of the café.
