"She needs help and she's not getting that help here."

"I know but there's nothing we can do about it, Sir. I understand you are worried about her but for now, it's best if we see things through.'

"No you, you don't understand."

"I'm sorry Sir, I don't understand what ?"

"Adalyn has always been a fragile person and her heart wasn't made for the pain she had to go through. She didn't deserve any of what she's going through right now."

He stayed silent.

"She deserves all the happiness in the world and more"

~~~
Knock.
Knock.
Knock.
The hairs on my back stood, who could it have been.
No. It couldn't have been Mother, could it ?
"Adalyn, it is Alessandro"
The voice calmed me down and I had called for him to come in.
"Good morning"
"Morning" I replied back, and watched as he made his way to the seat next to my bed.
Discreetly, I shuffled closer to the other side. It may have been obvious that I was nervous.
He must have noticed my actions and smiled a small smile before taking a seat and folded his hands in his lap.
His eyes swept over my appearance and a small frown replaced the smile he had been wearing.
His eyes caught onto mine and he must have noticed my confused expression before he spoke.
"I was ordered to come and see how you were doing"
My ears had only caught onto one word.
"Ordered"
"Quite right"
"By who ?"
"You shall find out soon"
"What's there to find out ?"
He stayed quiet.
"You've come here twice now and left me in a state of more confusion. I'm tired of whatever it is that you are trying to do"
He sat back in his chair. His eyes still trained on my own.
I drew back, my mind losing its train of thought.
~~~

"Mother"

She turned her chair towards me, eyes that had told me to continue.
