Chapter 14

Lor'Kia P. O. V                                12/17

Waking up to King blowing bubbles in ear and smacking my face. I saw it was 6 in the morning. I got up and took him to the bathroom giving him a quick wash off and then went and changed his diaper and got him dressed. I went to the living room and sat him in his rocker I made him a bottle and gave it to him he's so grown he be holding his own bottle I turned on the living room tv to some baby tv and ran to the bathroom so I can hurry up and shower.

Getting out the shower I saw Sky was playing with King so I just went to my room and got dressed in my all black PINK sweatsuit set with my red boy uggs. My hair was just in a messy bun I put on my jewelry and everything and grabbed my bag.

"Bye niece tell your mother i'll see her later." I said kissing her cheek taking King and his baby bag out the house. Prince was out waiting in the car for us today he was nice enough to take me and King to our doctors appointment. I might have to finish my school year online and graduate with the rest of my class ever since my pregnancy my blood pressure just wont stay at a regular rate and everyone is worried so yea that's what this doctor appointment is about.

"Thanks I'll call you when we're ready." I told Prince getting out the car walking into our doctors office. I'm still getting used to carrying his heavy car seats by myself. Walking in I saw Kamari sitting in the waiting area.

"Hi I'm here for a 7:40 appointment for Lor'Kia Love." I told the front desk lady and she printed out my wrist band and put it on my wrist and I went over to Kamari and sat down. He didn't have to be here but he wanted to be so it is what it is.

"How's my son been?" He asked me putting his phone down I noticed he got new tattoos and he was just looking so good ugh.

"He's been fine but of course the doctors will give us a more detailed report." I said shaking my head laughing a lil.

"That's good how you been?" He asked staring right at me looking me deep in my eyes.

"I've been straight just dealing with my blood pressure." I said nodding my head looking at him for a second then looking back down.

"Good I've been think-"

"Miss Love?" A nurse said calling for us curing Kamari off. I got up and so did he i was about to pick up King car seat but instead he grabbed it. We walked in the back and they weighed me and checked my height and then brought us in the room to do the same to King.

Now sitting waiting for the doctor to come in King was getting fussy so he must be getting hungry. "Can you pass be the bottle in the side part of his diaper bag." I told Kamari.

"Yea I gotchu." He said going to grabbed the bottle handing it to me getting back on his phone.

"Okay stinka mommy right here I got you." I said rocking him soothing him so he can stop crying I finally got the cap off the bottle and I gave it to him.

"Hello miss Love." My doctor came in smiling.

"Heyy." I said swinging my feet as I fed my son.

"Well everything is looking pretty good for King he's growing slow but surely the numbers are nothing to be so concerned about." She said nodding her head giving me and Kamari a warm smile. "Now about you miss Love that blood pressure is not at a normal rate what so ever and it's very concerning I need you to be in bed rest so I will be giving you a note for school saying you will have to finish online and you can return after winter break I will have you on medication that should help keep you at a stable number!" She said giving me a warm smile.

"Well that's good my main concern was not being able to finish my senior year in school so that makes me happy to know I have hope." I said honestly.
