Destiny's POV

Hunter's voice broke my train of thought and I tripped over a root. He grinded to a halt and whimpered.

'I'm okay, honest I just slipped'

Hunter walked up to me and rubbed his muzzle in my side I lifted my own and rubbed it on his neck.

'Are you ready to change back yet?'

'Yeah'

Me ad formam mutare

I returned back to myself again. Still sat on the floor!! I felt a pair of strong hands around my waist pulling me off the wet ground.

"You okay?" hunter asked, concern showing in his voice.

"I told you I'm fine, really"

Hunter looked me up and down and I thought he seemed to believe me. That was before I found myself strewn over his shoulder. I pounded on his back screaming at him to put me down. He wasn't having it.

"HUNTER, PUT ME DOWN!!!!!"

This continued, unsuccessfully might I add, until we were on the edge of the woods. There he put me down and draped his arm over my shoulders. I wrapped my arm around his waist and we walked into the house. He showed me to a room up on the 3rd floor. It wasn't old but it wasn't excessively modern either.

"My room is across the hall," he gestured to the room opposite "if you need anything" he winked at me. "Don't hesitate to ask"

He retreated to his own room leaving these words hanging in the air. I walked into my own room almost tripping over my boxes.

My boxes? When did they get here?

I looked around the room, a walk-in wardrobe on the east facing wall next to a large plasma TV and a large white king sized bed against the north wall facing the window. I looked out on the view. I could see the woods in which Hunter and I were running less than half an hour ago. The sun setting over the horizon. I was suddenly really rather tired, but I needed to unpack first.

The last box was unpacked, all my clothes were in my new wardrobe and my teddies stuffed on top. Bear, holding place of pride on my bed. I walked into the en suite (yes I did say en suite) and washed my face. Once I had dried my face I looked in the mirror and almost had a heart attack. Hunter stood over my shoulder staring down at me.

"You scared me" I sighed

"Sorry, I didn't mean to. Honest"

"It's fine. I'm really tired do you mind if I go to sleep?"

His reply was him walking to my door and just before closing it "Goodnight little Luna, sleep tight."

Luna? I think that's what a future Alpha's mate is called. Then it dawned on me. Hunter is the Alpha's son.

'Oh god!' Faith's voice came as a shock.

'Jesus, Faith you scared the life out of me'

'Sorry, now off to bed you have a big day ahead of you tomorrow.'
