TWO ┊SEIGE OF THE NORTH PART I

THE SUN IS SHINNING BEHIND THE CLOUDS AS NANAMI ENTERS THE SPARRING RING TO FACE HER OPPONENT. Nanami grins as she stands straight, her eyes are sparkling as she analyzed her opponent, looking for a sign for when he was going to attack. She saw it when she noticed they way his hand twitched, with his jaw locked, and his soft blue eyes shinning with nerves and determination. She braced herself when the boy summons a large amount of water and sends it straight towards her in a forceful blow that stills sends Nanami stumbling backwards but not enough to make her lose her balance.

Nanami smirks as she uses the remaining water from the attack and turns them into ice discs that she sends flying towards the boy. The boy gasps, summoning a shield of water to block the majority of them, before creating a lashing tendril of water to swipe at her. The water whip was weak and wobbly and splashed to the ground before it made any contact with Nanami. She smiles sweetly at him before she raises her hand and creates a pillar of ice from the ground that sends her opponent flying backwards into the snow. She gives a satisfied smirk when the boy makes no moves to stand back up. She stands up straighter and gives a bow as Pakku approaches her with a proud half smile on his lips. Katara is beside him and is grinning as she gives her a thumbs up.

Turns out, despite her initial struggle, she was a faster learner than expected. Waterbending felt like a second nature to her, something she found to herself doing with ease. She is fluid and swift with her movements like the oceans tides as well as sharp and precise with her attacks. She wasn't as talented as Katara, who has been doing it much longer than she has, but she has advanced well enough in her own right.

"Oh well, another one down. It was a nice try, I really saw you give it your all. Maybe one day you'll be able to win against a penguin seal," Pakku says with a even tone, though his lips quirk upward as if he finds it amusing.

Katara and Nanami try to hide their giggles behind their hands but a few still slip out.

Pakku then turns his attention to Nanami. "Nanami, you have advanced greatly given your short time learning waterbending. While you still have much to learn, your dedication and ambition is admirable and will one day make you a powerful waterbender," He tells her, a smile on his lips now like he had when congratulated Katara earlier.

Nanami smiles softly, her eyes shining.

"The two of you seem to understand that raw talent is not enough," Master Pakku says as he eyes drifted towards Aang who had Momo resting on his head while he spun an air ball above his head, while the lemurs tried to swat at it.
