(Y/N):
When Mark told me what was wrong, everything fell right back into place. We started talking and hanging out more regularly than normal, and he even let me in on a livestream. He liked to keep his personal life, well, personal. So, being on the livestream was super fun. He was recording for charity.
It had been a week since Mark had his worst panic attack, and he started going to a therapist. Once every three weeks, because he only wanted to know for sure if he had anxiety. It was refreshing to have Mark's bubbly vibe back.
As I was doing my schoolwork at my desk, Mark barged in, a huge mischievous smile on his face. I raised my eyebrow. "What is it, Mark?" I asked.
"Come on, I have something to show you," he said, and left the room.
Confused, I got up and pulled on my Rick and Morty sweats and left my room, shutting the door. Mark had his keys in his hands and was slipping his black Vans on.
"Wear are we going?" I asked as I put my Crocs on.
"Patience, (Y/N), patience," he responded, not really answering my question. He grabbed my hand and led me out into the night, shutting the door and locking it. We jumped into his car and he drove for about 20 minutes until we were out of the city. I tried asking him where we were going, but either didn't respond or told me we were going to be there soon. Even though I trusted him, it was weird. Even for Mark.
Then, Mark pulled to the side of the road and got out. He opened my door and grabbed my hand yet again. It was warm and fit perfectly with mine. I shut the door behind me and he brought me to the trunk and pulled out a blanket and a basket. We were going to watch the stars.
I was so giddy when I realized it. We walked over to the empty field and laid the blanket out. The night sky was crystal clear, and the more I looked up the more my eyes adjusted. Mark again took my hand and insinuated that I lay down next to him. I rested my head on his arm, the crickets filling in the silence as we gazed upon the stars. It was perfect. Soon, I could see the cloudiness of the Milky Way, and all the tiny stars that were so far away.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Mark said, his deep voice calm. It made my heart skip a beat.
"So so so beautiful," I responded, keeping my eyes on the stars.
"Not as beautiful as you," he said. It almost made me laugh how incredibly cliche it was.
"Oh, stop," I said. "You're just as handsome."
He chuckled, and wrapped his arm around me. He was so warm, and he made me feel safe. I had never been this close to Mark before, but I loved it. I felt secure.
"(Y/N), will you go out with me?" Mark asked. It was so abrupt it caught me off guard. I mean, we were getting closer but I didn't really think he'd ask me out. I immediately knew the answer to his question.
    "Yes."
