VIII

Bucky pov.

When i got to the Tower Bruce and Natasha made rushed me to bed. I didn't really fuss since it was late and i was tired so i simply took a shower changing before doing so. I woke up to my belly hurting. 

"What a great way to start the day." I mumbled as i pressed my hand up against where it was hurting which was the top and thankfully not the bottom. I slowly got up before checking the time which read 7:33 meaning that everyone should be up. 

I quickly shuffled out of the room into the common room where everyone was. Well almost everyone. Thor and Loki sat on the floor with 3 of the quads as Steve and Sam was having a discussion on one of the couches. Clint and Pietro was cuddling and Wanda and Vision was listening to music together. I looked over to see Natasha in the kitchen meaning Tony and Peter was missing which is normal. 

"Morning." I say as everyone looked in my direction. "Welcome Home James." Thor boomed making me smile. "Uncle Bucky!" The kids squealed running in my direction. "Hey everyone." I say giving hugs and kisses to them before they all went back to sit on the floor with Thor and Loki. "Are you hungry, i just finished breakfast." Nat said as i nodded. "Uh yeah sure." I say before she took up my food handing my plate before doing the same for everyone else. 

Since the discussion between Steve and Sam seemed important i simply sat at the island counter with Nat. "What are they talking about?" I asked before shoveling some food into my mouth. 

"I don't know but its obvious that he's making Cap upset." She say as i glanced at the pair. Steve indeed looked like he was ready to punch Sam but i payed no attention to it. "Where's Tony and Peter?" I asked as Nat visibly tensed up before she immediately masked it. 

"Uh, Tony's and Peter in his and Steve's room." She said as she started to play with her food. "You tensed up when i mentioned them. What's wrong? Did Steve do something again- he promised hat wouldn't do anything again." I mumble as she shook her head no before sighing and looking up at me. "A week after your kidnapping Tony got sick. Really sick to the point where we were all sure he was going to die." She explained as i slowly rest my fork down on the barely eaten plate. 

"When Tony had his near death experience we all know how smart Peter is so he knew too and it freaked him out. It made his asthma act up meaning that he's sicker and can barely breathe because he's worrying about his mom possibly dying." She uttered sadly. 

"Peter has been sleeping with Tony and Steve since the scare. Steve has been a bit of a mess between taking care of the quads and taking care of Tony were all sure that he's going to send himself crazy." She mumbled before sighing and looking up at me. 

"I-I gotta go." I said getting up out of my chair and turning to leave. "Wait you haven't eaten anything yet." She spoke up as i huffed. "Not hungry." I said back before i disappeared into the hallway. I quickly walked over to Tony and Steve's shared room before slowly and lightly opening the door. "Pete i told you that i'm fine." Tony tiredly said to Peter who sat in front of him. Tony wore a white hoodie that was obviously Steve's as Peter wore a Panda onesie. 

"Steve i-" Tony then stopped himself as he met my eye. "Bucky?" He asked as i gave him a small smile. "Hey." I say as he sat up receiving help from Peter who looked extremely worried for his mother. 

"Bucky, Christ come here." He say as i nodded closing the door behind me before crawling into the bed. Tony quickly engulfed me into a weak hug, but i can tell that he was using all of his energy. "I missed you." I breathed making Tony chuckle before letting me go. 

"I didn't know that they were getting you today i would have been waiting for you when you reached." He said making me smile. "I came back late last night, you might have been asleep by then." I say with a chuckle before scanning Tony. He was pale as his cheeks was sunken in. He had dark rings around his eyes yet he wore a smile. A pained one but a smile non the less.
