As you turned off your alarm, you got up. Typically you wouldn't be up this early, but you wanted to look presentable for your first day of work. Recently you had to switch to a new facility because of some issues that happened in the past. Your ex-supervisor thought it would be best if you transferred, get a new fresh start. As you got up you grabbed your phone and went on your mary way to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee. Whilst the coffee was brewing, you scrolled on your phone to see many pictures of your old friends posted, hanging out and partying. You felt a bit hurt but then again you agreed to this switch.

Once your coffee finished brewing you added your preference of creamer and sugar, which was none. You liked your coffee black and plain. After drinking all of your coffee and taking care of the dish, you head your way to the bathroom to take a shower. You took your shower, washed your face, basically your typical everyday routine. Going to your bedroom, you went and looked for the perfect 'first day of work' outfit. Struggling for a bit you agreed within yourself some nice dress pants and a white button-down with a black blazer on top, leaving the first three buttons open. Doing your everyday natural makeup, making sure it wasn't too over the top but enough to cover the fact that you didn't get much sleep, the time went by.

You grabbed all the things you needed and threw them into your purse, car keys, phone, ID, the go bag you put together the night before. You threw on some flats and went on your way. The drive to the BAU was nerve-wracking but uneventful. As you arrived, you took your keys out of the ignition, took a deep breath, unbuckled your seatbelt, grabbed your purse, and left your car. You locked your vehicle, taking precautions after seeing many incidents dealing with cars. As you were walking, you threw your car keys into your purse and looked up at the building ahead of you. There was no turning back now. You headed into the building, passing through security, the elevator was closing but you quickly ran up to it and stopped it from fully closing and then entered.

Observing your surroundings in the elevator, you saw a woman with blond hair. You were trying to analyze her, figuring out what she was thinking and up to. The elevator door dinged open, and you exited, not sure where to go you turn to the woman as you hesitantly asked for directions.

"Ehm... excuse me, uh hi..." you said to the woman. She turned back at you intrigued, trying to determine who you were you continued on."Well, you see it's my first day, and I'm not sure where I'm supposed to go."Suddenly her face lit up in realization as to who you were "oh my- how did I not know... you must be Agent y/n, I'm Agent Jareau, although please call me JJ." The blond woman put her hand out, and you reciprocated the introduction and shook her hand. Giving you the grand tour of the place she stops at the workspaces and desks in the bull pen introducing you to your new team, Emily Prentiss, a woman with medium length dark hair and pale. Derek Morgan, a tall fit, and attractive man not to mention charming. David Rossi, sweet man, on the older side, though he looks quite young for his age. Dr. Spencer Reid, tidy long-haired, and above all the smartest having an IQ level of 187 and an eidetic memory. Finally, JJ had led you to the last room you haven't been in yet, Aaron Hotchner's office, your new boss's office. Once JJ had left, you entered the room to see a dark-haired man, wearing a suit and tie. You smiled in hopes of covering your anxiousness.

"Hello, Agent y/n... I've been waiting for you. Please do sit," He said as he guided you to the chair in front of his desk, you followed and sat. He continued on."So I've been looking at your file, and your credentials are incredible, it's not often we see someone with your IQ level, although as you know and hopefully you have met, Dr. Spencer Reid has the highest IQ level in the Bureau." You nodded in agreement letting him continue. "I notice you seem a little anxious, I can guarantee that there's nothing to worry about, with like I said, your credentials are more than amazing... but I saw the incident report that was placed before you were transferred here..." you finally spoke, "ehm yes, my supervis- I mean my previous supervisor had already informed me the details with it being sealed only being accessed to certain people such as myself and you... although it can be accessed if reasoning fits." He kept eye contact with you as you spoke. The rest of the meeting was just going through the protocols, what to pack in go bags, although being with your previous unit, you already knew most of the stuff, these were things you were used to by now.

As your meeting with Agent Hotchner was coming to an end, Spencer had knocked on the frame of the door pulling both yours and Hotchner's attention to him. You noticed he seemed nervous as he swallowed his saliva causing his adam's apple to move, "Hotch I finished all my case files, is there anything else for me to do?" Hotchner looks at you and back Spencer and he replies with "actually I do indeed have something for you to do Dr. Reid... see y/n and I have just finished our meeting going through protocol and I don't think anyone has shown her where she'll be working, if you don't mind, I would like you to show her where she'll be working." Spencer sheepishly nodded as you tried to analyze him, he was closed off, awkward but it was cute.
