Olivia's POV:-

We were sitting on the couch watching random TV shows while eating popcorn. Making fun of every show how ridiculous they are and how they are not fun.

After talking to Liam I felt at ease. He was like a remedy for every problem. Whenever I felt like I am alone there is no I could share my thoughts, my views there was Liam. He was like a light at the end of the darkest tunnel. Just like the moon needs the sun to shine in the darkness. He was my sun in the night.

I could talk to him about anything. And everything. We were inseparable since kindergarten. I could vividly remember the events that took place in our childhood.

"Hey rays of sunshine, let's welcome a new girl in our class. Olivia Anderson." The teacher said the words getting everyone's attention in the class. I stood near the door with my mom holding her hand. At that time my last name was still Anderson.

My mom ushered me forward towards the teacher and said bye to me. I was left alone to deal with the horror of every child that is on the first day introducing yourself and making friends.

The teacher asked me to introduce myself. Every student in the class was looking at me with curiosity. I was always confident about myself but seeing all those girls and boys I felt like crying because I wasn't in my comfort zone.

One boy in the first row gave me an encouraging smile. His green eyes lit up when I returned his smile.

"Hello, friends I am Olivia. I love the blue color. And I love flowers. I hope we all could be good friends." When I was done with my introduction everyone clapped and that boosted my confidence. I asked the teacher to let me sit with the boy who gave me a smile.

"Hii I'm Liam Carter. You're beautiful." He said. His curly hair mop was looking good on him. He had been wearing a white T-shirt. Dreamer words in black were written on it.

I smiled at his compliment. "You're cute when you smile," I said shyly tucking my hairs behind my ear.

"Can we become friends." He asked.

"Of course. We can."

"Do you wanna play with me in the garden in the recesses ? We could play anything you want but not dolls."

I giggled softly. "I don't like dolls. And I will definitely play with you."

"Hey, Oli back to Earth." I looked at Liam startled. He chuckled seeing my reaction. "What were you thinking ? Daydreaming about me ?" He wiggled his eyebrows at him.

"You piece of shit." I shoved him from the couch he landed on the floor laughing like a madman. I again hit him with the remote control. Switching off the TV. I hit him continuously.

"Ok stop. Stop. I said stop." He said trying to block me with his hands. "Now gonna bother to tell me what were you thinking ?"

"I was thinking about my first day of kindergarten. And how we became friends." I told him while rolling my eyes.

He again started laughing while rolling on the floor. In between laugh, he managed to say. "You said I don't like dolls."

"Out of all things you think that thing was funny ?" I asked him.

"Yes, that was funny because you were the first girl who didn't like dolls. Okay. Now quit with eye-rolling and pretending to angry." He said while sitting back on the couch.

I sighed. "Is it a crime to not like the dolls ? Have seen their eyes. How creepy." I shuddered to imagine it.

"They might be creepy to you but it was the biggest joke of my life."

"Then why didn't you laugh on the face that day ? Tell me." I asked him exasperated crossing my hands.

He took my hands in his hands. Making me look at him. He looked in my giving me the smile he gave me on the first day. The nostalgic feeling came over me. Like we were again in the kindergarten.

"Because I wanted you to be my friend. When you told me about not liking dolls, I got the vision of my colorful future. You really didn't disappoint me in the jokes and fun department. And one more point I was curious about you. You didn't wear pink dresses like other girls. You did like soft toys but in other things you were unique. So I wanted to claim you as my friend. And I am glad that you chose me as your friend." He said genuinely.

We smiled at each other. Reminiscing all good memories from childhood. Every fight, every smile, every cry, everything. I felt good remembering all those things. I rested my head on his shoulder. Closing my eyes. We sat in the silence.

He was there. And I knew it in the future he would be there no matter what. No matter where.
