Chapter 3 - he calls me!

Delia’s POV

I was staring outside from my room’s window. I am so freaking bored after I went home from the soccer field. Joana said that she cant go to my house cause she has to pack. UGH im so bored!!! Suddenly, my phone rings.

“hello?”

“hi?”

“umm.. is this Delia?”

“yeah.. and this is..?”

“this is Nathan. Sorry that I left just now”

“no,no,no! sorry for disturbing you!”

“no, I’m the one who should say sorry..”

“really, Nathan. It wasn’t your fault”

“shut it, Delia. As my apology, what about you and me hang out in the mall tomorrow?”

“yeah sure, I’ll ask Joana if she can go with us!”

“uhh.. I mean.. sure!”

“great then! What time should we meet?”

“umm 1 pm? I’ll fetch you”

“wait, you know my house?”

“ok I’ll fetch you tomorrow!”

I put my phone on my bed. I stood up and jump up and down.

“OH MY GOSH NATHAN JUST CALLED ME I CAN’T BELIEVE HE JUST CALLED ME! HE EVEN KNOWS WHERE I LIVE!!! OH MY GOSH!!! AM I DREAMING?!?! WOULD SOMEONE SLAP ME PLEASE!?!?!?!” I yelled as loud as I can.

“What the hell, Delia?” my sister, Carrie, said.

“did you hear what I said a while ago?!?!”

“yeah, ALL. You were shouting out loud! I bet Nathan could hear you from his house!” she replied.

“very funny, Carrie! He lives 2 blocks away from here. It’s a bit far,” I defended myself. Suddenly, my phone rings again.

“uhh Delia?”

“y-yes?”

“sorry but I could hear you yelling a while ago” I blushed.

“y-you did? Was I that loud?”

“I was in front of your house a while ago and you-”

“YOU WERE IN FRONT OF MY HOUSE?!?!?!?!” Carrie is laughing on me -_-

“yeah that’s why I know where you’re living. Ok I was talking nonsense so bye!”

He hung up.

“lol ,Delia! You really should think twice before you say something,” Carrie teased.

“whatever, Carrie. Go out of my room now,” I commanded her.

“whatever,” she said.

"SERIOUSLY DELIA?! NATHAN JUST CALLED YOU? NATHAN AS IN NATHAN WILLIAMS??!?!" Joana yelled.

"yes, Joana. Nathan Williams who was born on November 10th 1997 just freaking called me!!"

"omg omg!! you're so lucky!! i think he likes you too..!! omg!"

"hahaha.. thanks for saying that but i dont know.. you know, Nicole is flirting with him," I replied.

"the heck, Delia?!?! dont mind Nicole! its obvious that nathan likes you! hey, when you guys are official, dont forget to treat me, ok?" she said.

"it depends," i said.

"ugh come on Delia! don't be such a meanie!" 

"hahaha.. well, i'm not so sure if he likes me though," i said.

"nu-uh.. no doubt, Delia. btw, about me going with both of you.. i think i can't go," she replied.

"what?!?! no! you should go with me!!"

"so sorry Delia but I've lots of things to do.. I need to pack for my clothes, my -"

"ok, ok. the point is you're busy," i replied.

"EXACTLY!" she yelled out loud that makes me almost fell off my bed.

"but i dont wanna go without you!"

"don't act so childish, delia.. come on, if you liked him, you'd want to go to the mall  WITHOUT me"

what she said was kinda true though.. to be honest, i really wanna go only with him but im too shy.

"but i'm shy, Joana! what'd our friends say?!" i said.

"dont mind them! if you love each other nothing could ever stop you guys!" she advised.

"you're smart, Joana! ok bye thanks for your advice!"

"hey i-"

I hung up.
