I had woken up at my grandparents house and was rushing to get out the door. Why? Because I'm working at Happypawside restaurant today! I rushed out the front door and into the street all the way to the restaurant in a hurry. "Oh god it's going to be lunch hour soon and they need me there quickly it's going to be packed!" By the time I got there it was about ten minutes till lunch hour. I put on a white buttoned up blouse with a pair of blue jeans with a black flats.
I walked out all ready to start and I could see the people practically pouring in. "Alright! Let's do this." I ran over to tables and started taking orders rather quickly that was until I saw something that pissed me off. A female Gila monster was being harassed by some herbivores, a goat, a sheep and a giraffe. I walked over to them and I was furious. "Please stop! I told you, I'm saving those seats for my friends and I!" I heard them scoff and laugh at her. "Why don't you go a spread your venom else where you freak!" The sheep spouted off making me slam my hand down on the table making the four of them jump. "Hey... didn't you read the sign?! It's says everyone is welcome sea mammals and especially poison and no poisonous reptiles. Also this is a fine dinning establishment, this is her table. Why don't go wait in line like everyone else?" The goat stood up visibly angry. "Who the fuck do you think you are?! You bitch!" He fling his fist back ready to punch me when someone caught it. I looked behind me and saw it was uncle Leo. Uncle Leo is a Maasai lion, his fur was a golden yellow color with his mane being an light brown amber color. He also two different colored eyes, his left was blue while his right eyes was yellow. "Uncle Leo?" I questioned as he smiled at me before returning his glare to the three guys in front of us. "Leave now!" Leo growled and the three took off outside the restaurant down the street. "Are you alright?" I nodded and I looked at the female reptile before us. "Hey, you okay?" I asked her and she smiled. "Yes, thank you both so much."
We allowed her to sit down while I took my break. "So uncle Leo, what are you doing here?" He looked down at me before remembering. "Oh yeah, your grandmother asked me a the flower shop to come over and ask what kind of flowers he wanted to replace the old ones in the fanghappy - fancyside restaurant. "I think he's in the office looking over a few papers." Leo nodded walking into the back of the restaurant.
When I got back out to continue my shift someone jumped on my back making me jump. "Hey girl!" I sighed knowing who it was. "Hey Mika." Mika hopped off me and smiled as I turned around to see the gray chinchilla staring up at me with her beautiful brow eyes. She was wearing a floral skirt with a white shirt and black sandals. "Hey what's up, please make it quick I'm still on the clock." Mika smiled as she stared up at me. "I'm helping you for the day." My eyes widened as she said that. "Wait... what?! What do you know about waitressing." Mika shrugged running to the back room to get a apron from my grandfather. She ran back quickly as she picked up a tray. I sighed as I told her what to do. The day actually went pretty well, so my grandfather sent us home early since the rush was slowing down.
Mika and I were walking down the street when she was pulled by arm into an alleyway. "Mika!" I screamed running in the direction she was grabbed. I saw a tall tiger and his presence just made my freeze. "My, my I was just hoping to sneak a quick snack..." He said looking down at Mika's terrified face to mine. "...but now I get the chance to take out a wolf, what a treat." The tiger licked his lips and picked Mika up by her throat. "R-Run!" Mika squeaked our as she tried to kick him in the face. I growled and showed my fangs as he tightened his grip on her neck. For a moment I lost all fear and just lunged at him, this made him let go of Mika as he started to bite me. "Mist!" Mika cried as she sat there shaking. "Run! Go!" Mika stood up shakily as she ran off screaming. "I'll go get help!" I watched face off into the distance and I scratched at him.
We continued fighting for a good ten minutes I could feel my head getting dizzy from all the blood I was losing and before I knew it the feline was on top of me grinning as his weight was crushing my chest causing more blood to leak out. "Damn it... I'm going to die here!" Suddenly the weight was lifted off my chest quickly as I heard the feline hiss and I heard growling from what sounded like another wolf. As I was just on the verge of passing I heard a familiar voice. "Mist?! You okay?!" I turned my head over to a blurry Mika who was crying. "We need to get her to a hospital!" I remember hearing another voice that sounded way too familiar. "Legoshi?..." I whispered before passing out.
