Assassins Creed One Shots 2! (COMPLETED!)

(REQUEST) (Shut up and dance with me) (Liam O'Brien X Reader)

"HOW! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO GET A FULL SYNCHRONIZATION IF EVERYONE KEEPS SPOTTING ME" you yelled as you threw your controller on the floor. This is the 20th time you've died in the game, Assassins Creed Rogue, and still couldn't get past the mission of where Shay had to kill the Templar named Lawrence Washington.

With every move you kept doing, guards kept noticing you and no matter what you did, they kept spotting you. That was it. You gave up. You stood up and tried to leave your room but the door was now stuck. While you were pulling on the door to get out, your television sputtered and engulfed the entire room in a bright flash of light. You felt as if you were falling and screamed until you fell to the ground in a flower bed. The sound of fireworks was heard and people talking. You slowly raised your head up and saw an incredible sight.

People in tights and very old looking and elegant dress clothes with guards in uniform walking around with muskets. Before you could get up, you heard, "Who are you"? You slowly looked up and saw the one and only, Shay Cormac. "Uh-uhh".

"A beautiful lady such as yourself shouldn't be in the shrubs. Are you injured" Shay asked as he held out his hand for you to take. You accepted his offer and were soon up on your feet. Before you could respond, another man was coming towards you. It was also another very recognizable person. Liam O'Brien. "Shay, who is this"?

"I don't know, she was passed out in the shrub"-

"Liam"?

Both men gave a look of confusion. They have definitely never seen you before and had definitely never seen anyone wearing clothes like you before. "How do you know me"?

"I've heard of you" was all you could say to make an excuse, "And I admire you". Liam wasn't sure what to say next since but his thoughts were racing and he should've questioned you more but there was a pressing matter at stake. "Perhaps you could assist me"?

"Uhh... How"?

"Shay needs to get to his target but there are still too many guards. I can help by getting rid of the guards but I still need to blend in". Liam then had an idea pop into his head. "Shay, stay with her. I'll return in a moment". Liam left you with a very confused Shay and you were still baffled as to what was happening. "Am I dreaming" you thought aloud.

"Why would you be"?

"I don't even know how I got here"!

"What's the last thing you remember"?

"I only remember trying to leave my room" you then looked to Shay and saw his very confused look, "That's it". Shay was lost out of reason and only hoped that Liam would return soon. Luckily he did but with a lose fitting dress. "Quickly, change into this". You stared at the dress and it was making your skin crawl at the thought of wearing it. You hated dresses. They were too flashy and it was definitely not your style. "Why"?

"We can help you, but first you have to help us. Now please, put this on".

"Here? In the shrub"? Liam quickly took your arm and led you to a small shed. "Change in here, quickly"! Liam then looked to Shay and you heard him say, "Get into position, I'll signal you when it's safe". With no other choice, you slipped off your pajamas and slipped into the dress, quite easily. The dress was nice but you still hate dresses. "What do I do with my pajamas"?

"You mean your clothes? Just leave them there. No one will touch them"? You soon came out in the dress and Liam looked pleased with what he choose. "What's the point of all of this"?

"There needs to be eyes close to the target, and in order to do that, we need to blend in. So... Would you dance with me"? Liam then offered his hand in such a charismatic way which made you blush. Here's why. When people play Assassins Creed Rogue, people tend to fall in love with the protagonist that they play as. But not you. You always loved Liam O'Brien. You would always replayed missions with him in it just to see him. But now that this was happening for real, there was no way you would miss the chance to dance with your gamer crush.

You accepted his hand and said, "I'd love too". He smiled and led you to the area with other men dancing with woman. You remembered that the target was sitting at a table nearby and then Liam carefully started to lead you in a slow dance with his hands intertwined with your much smaller hands. "Don't worry, if you see anything scary, I'll protect you".

You face started turn bright red and he quickly noticed which made him smile. "Am I embarrassing you"?

"Shut up and dance with me" you said with a bright smile. He chuckled and kept on dancing with you. Liam looked up and saw Shay in a tree awaiting for his signal. Liam took out a blow pipe and shot the snipers with his sleep darts. "I didn't know he had those too" you thought. Liam took out all the snipers and signaled for Shay to go. In no time did Shay quickly go through them and was about to assassinate Lawrence Washington but Liam pulled you close so you wouldn't see it. His broad chest blinded you from seeing the impact but you didn't care.

You've completed the game before.

"You know, I don't know your name. But you know mine".

"(Y/n) (l/n)".

"Such a beautiful name".

"You know, you have no idea how long I've wanted this". Liam gently pulled you back and said, "Oh? How long"?

"I can't say". You then took Liam by the collar of his attire and kissed him. As for any unexpected turn of events, his reaction was understandable. He was shocked but he soon relaxed and enjoyed the moment. He couldn't lie to himself, ever since he saw you, he admired how you looked. What he didn't realize was that you were in from a completely different place. One he will never understand so it may be best to keep it too yourself.

Liam wrapped his arms around you and you both could feel the love between you both. That must be a new record. Falling in love in the shortest amount of time possible.

Screaming was then heard and both of you looked over to see Lawrence Washington dead in his seat. Liam quickly took you back to the shed where your clothes were and said "You can change back into your clothes. I'll help you get home". You did as he asked but what was so unexpected was when you walked into the shed, you were suddenly back in your room. The television was off and so was your console. The dress was left behind and you couldn't believe that this all happened.

You quickly turned everything back on and loaded up the game again to see if there was anything for you to see. When you got back to the mission, your console froze for a moment but then played a small cutscene of Liam standing in front of the same shed waiting. He turned around and asked, "Are you finished"? When he heard no answer, he carefully opened the door and saw the dress on the floor of the shed. "(Y/n)"!? He looked around frantically but Shay quickly appeared and said, "Hurry! We have to go"! Liam was so scatterbrained but quickly followed after Shay. "Please come back, (Y/n)" Liam said softly.

You heard him and when the screen and console turned off, you quietly said...

"I'll try... I promise".

Ok, here you go starmay79. I apologize for the delay. I really hope you enjoy your one shot. I don't how many times I replayed Rogue but it was definitely more than six times. Liam is definitely hot now that I think about. The other assassins from Rogue? Meh...
