The Councils Word

The council had already begun the meeting and they were discussing how to take back theed for the second time obi-wan entered the council room quietly trying not to draw attention to the fact that he was late. Anakin did the same however after ki-undi-mundi finished his report just as they had entered so everybody noticed they were late.

"Late, again you are, reason you have to offer us." yoda asked calm and not bothered by their lateness.

"Well we were, well what hap-"

"We were sparing and Obi-wan was improving my skill in soresu and we lost track of time I would like to offer our sincerest apologise to the honourable master for our lateness to such an important meeting" Anakin supplied saving obi-wan from further embarrassment.

Obi-wan blushed Anakin could sweet talk his way out of most things. Anakin had saved obi-wan from the council, this was love. He would have to repay the favour and gratitude later.

"Matter it does not, nothing important to your mission did you miss." yoda said as if they were not late.

"Obi-wan you and Skywalker will head with Anakin's 501st legion, however we hope they will not be needed only your security should enter the planet, as we are sending you to hopefully get malada to join the Republic with a diplomatic solution but the separatists may try to sabotage the meeting causing a planetwide war as some of the planet want to join the separatists" Mace stated with a tone of annoyance."We hope due to your diplomatic skill obi-wan the mission should only take a week Skywalker you are there incase of a war breaking out you will assist obi-wan with our side of the war if it breaks out, which we are trying to avoid"

"Leave immediately you should malada 3 days travel away in star cruiser. May the force be with you"

"And with you" obi-wan replied in unison with Anakin, which was slightly awkward.

When they left the council room Anakin was elated to be going on a mission almost alone with obi-wan, the love of his life for a week. He was extatic he ran to the apartment and had already packed everything he and obi-wan might need for their private week away, that's the way Anakin saw it a week alone to spend time with his love, his obi-wan.
