As they walked towards the separatists side of the Palace two droids asked for their weapons.

Anakin didn't like the fact he'd be defenceless if they were attacked.
But obi-wan kissed him on the cheek reassuring him that it would be ok. Anakin felt calmed by obiwans kiss trusting him it would be ok. Anakin, obi-wan, rex and the 2 other clones were marched to Count Dookus quarter under heavy guard.

The count was surprised to see Anakin, obi-wan, a clone commander and 2 other clones walk towards him weapon less.

"Ah come to negotiate the removal of all Republic forces." the count asked gloating.

"Well no we are here to see what help we could be to you." obi-wan said calmly.

"And what use are to Republic jedi to the separatists leader." he sneered mocking them.

"We aren't jedi or part of the Republic." Anakin said emotionless.

The count raised an eyebrow.

"Really is that so. Why did you leave? You were respected members." the Count asked entrigued.

"The same reason you did we saw how the jedi play politics no longer serving the will of the force we have become disillusioned with their ways and wish to join the separatists cause against them." obi-wan said like he had practised.

"A plausible story but not the whole truth. I want to here it all if I am to accept you to my cause." Dooku replied emotionless.

"How did you know!?" Anakin burst out.

"It doesn't matter, Anakin, Dooku a major reason why we left is because we are in love." obi-wan admitted grabbing Anakin's hand.

"OK now I have the truth I want a proof of loyalty. Prove to me you are loyal." Dooku demanded still skeptical.

"Well this is captain Rex of the 501 battalion and he knows all clone traits, tactics and the next 4 months republics targets." Anakin said hoping to prove their loyalty.

"Very well then these clones will go with some droids and will be taken to our lead strategist and give him all the information he requires." the count commanded.

"Also we need to give you an injection to make sure you tell the truth." the count said as a medical droids with needles marched towards them and injected them giving them no time to protest.

"that's fine we have nothing to hide." obi-wan said rubbing his neck.

"Well I do," the Count admitted "that was an injection of harmless poison until I activated if if  believe you have lied or betrayed me I will activate it and you will both died instantly.

" OK then, if you could show us to our room it would be appreciated as we are quite tired. " Anakin lied pretending that the threat on there lives did not exist.

"Very well droids take our new separatists to their quarters." the Count ordered as he srood up and walked away.
