Flashback start

"Are you ready for the Exams tomorrow Izu?" I asked as I wrapped my arms around him. "I'm ready for the exams. I can't wait to become the number one hero with you at my side" Izu said with a determined fire in his eye. "Then I'll just make sure to take the Number One hero spot from you," I said with a mischievous glint in my eyes. "You love me too much to do that" Izu said as he kissed my forehead. I returned it by kissing him on the lips passionately. After that, I fell asleep with the man I love right beside me.

Flashback end

There was a blaring noise going off so I used my Metalbending to crush the alarm clock. I opened my eyes slowly and my gaze was met those of an emerald green one. "Goodmorning Izu," I said as stared at him. "Good morning to you to Korra-Chan," Izu said as he kisses my forehead, "We should probably get up," Izu said as he started to sit up but I stopped him by getting on top of him and straddling him and laying my head down on his chest.

"Come on Korra-Chan, we have exams and we can't be late" Izu said as I looked up at him with my blue eyes. We stared at each other for a minute before I got off him and off the bed. "I'll go take a shower first!" I declared as I grabbed my clothes and ran into the bathroom. After I showered and changed I walked into the kitchen and ate some breakfast really quickly with Izu. After breakfast, we ran out the door and Izu locked it behind us, and after he finished that he activated One for All disappeared. I decided to use an ability that Ravva just taught me. I focused and I started to fell myself float off the ground. I smirk at it working and I activated the Avatar State and disappeared after Izuku.

Shortly after that, I arrived at the front gate of UA with Izu arriving mere seconds after me. I smirked at my small victory as I kissed Izu on the cheek. "Awww, better luck next time babe," I said with a smile but it was wiped off with Izu kissing me on the lips for a few seconds. "That was for beating me," Izu said with what I could tell was a mischievous smile. We walked through the gates and as soon as we did we heard shouting from behind us.

"GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY WAY DEKU!" The voice shouted as the guy barged past us. I glared over at the guy, contemplating whether I should Earthbend a rock at his head. I was pulled out of my thoughts by a hand being placed on my shoulder. I looked over at Izu who shook his head, probably guessed I'd do something. "Who was that Izu?" I asked. "That there is Katsuki Bakugo, my childhood friend. I used to call him Kacchan but that's when we were still friends, now we're not" Izu said. My eyes flashed with understanding.

Izu had told me about Bakugo before and about all the things that Bakugo did to him. I clenched my fist in anger and most of the students walking by froze in place. "Korra-Chan, calm down," Izu said to me with a soothing voice. I looked around and realized that I was Bloodbending everyone around me still. I quickly opened my hands and cooled down. "I'm sorry for that Izu, I just got mad because of that jerk Bakugo," I said as I looked down.

"Hey, it's okay" Izu started as he lifted my chin with his finger, "I love that you want to protect me and I fell the same way," Izu said. I grabbed his cheeks and brought his lips against mine in a deep kiss with a little bit of tongue play. After we pulled apart Izu was red with embarrassment. "W-w-were i-in a p-public place K-Korra-Chan," Izu said as he stuttered. "Awww but I like making my Izu all embarrassed," I said with a smile as we started making our way into the building for the exams.

As we walked I started to think. "Hey Izu I have a question," I asked. "What is it?" Izu responded as he looked up at me. "Why didn't you take Toshinori's offer for a recommendation?" I asked. Izu stayed silent for a moment before stopping and looking at me wit ha serious face. "It's because I want to prove to him, to you, to my mom, and to everyone else that I belong at UA and to do that I need to get in on my own strength," Izu said with a determined look.
