Todoroki x Fem Reader (Angst & Fluff)

For easier writing I've changed the dark magic coming out of her mouth to black tentacles coming out of her back so just picture that.

Short version of request:  Readers quirk is like Raven from Teen Titan, but she hide sthe full details of her quirk from Todoroki and the rest of the class from fear of losing control, she eventually does lose control and Todoroki tries to help.

((Keep in mind I've never watched this show and I really have no idea about what I'm writing about but I'll try))

Quirk: Dark Magic, Y/n's quirk is hard to handle and when it gets out of control Y/n's 'Inner Demon' comes out and takes over. Kind of like when Tokoyami loses control over Dark Shadow.

Y/n was out in the training field late at night, trying to focus on moving large rocks with her tentacles. Y/n sighed as she threw another large rock half way across the field, sitting down and retracting her tentacles as she looked up at the moon. Thoughts flooded her mind as she zoned out. "You should be a villian with that quirk demon girl!" No. "Haha wow, you can't even control your own quirk? Might as well be quirkless." Stop. "You know one day you're gonna kill someone with powers like that right?" 

"Stop!" Y/n's voice cracked as she stood up, running a hand through her hair. 

"Y/n?" Hearing her name she whipped around to see Todoroki standing a few feet away. He spoke up once again, "Y/n are you ok?" Y/n's eyes darted around, all the memories flooding to the front of her mind, her breathing getting heavier as her tentacles emerged from her back. "I-...." Y/n couldn't think of any words, the memories playing over and over, filling her mind. Todoroki stepped closer, "Y/n listen to me, breathe." Y/n's eyes turned a glossy black as black tears cascaded down her face, "Listen listen listen! That's all anyone ever says!" Y/n's voice distorted as she put her hands in her hair. "I don't want to listen! I don't want to listen to the voices, or the memories or anything!" 

One of her tentacles went to grab Todoroki but he froze it to the ground, watching Y/n struggle to take back control of her own body, "You-You need to leave!" Her voice broke through as one eye turned back to e/c. (eye color) "I can't-Agh! I can't hurt you please-!" She rushed out the words before her eye glossed over again with black, the tentacle that was stuck in ice breaking out. Todoroki froze all of her tentacles in place, freezing her arms to her side and her feet to the ground. He walked up to her as his eyebrows furrowed, 

"I'm not fucking leaving you Y/n, do you understand." He said that as more of a statement then a question as Y/n continued to squirm, one tentacle breaking free but the dual-haired boy quickly freezing it again. He looked her in the eyes, "Listen to me, breathe." Y/n squirmed more as the black in her eyes faded partially, "I can't! I can't I can't I can't! It's so loud!" She squirmed violently before Todoroki came closer and hugged her. "It will end. You need to ignore them Y/n, please." Todoroki stayed and held her before he heard ice crack and saw her tentacles retract into her back. He used his fire side to carefully melt the ice around her, before wrapping his arms around her again.

He heard her start to cry as she hugged him back, "I'm so sorry I should've told you and I-" Todoroki pulled away and put a hand over her mouth. "Shush. You didn't need to tell me anything and I won't tell anyone either. You're clearly struggling so let me help you." More tears rolled down Y/n's cheeks as she nodded. Todoroki pulled his hand away and held Y/n's, walking back to the dorms in silence before Todoroki spoke up, "If you want to you can sleep with me tonight." Y/n nodded as she wiped tears from her face, walking with Todoroki to his dorm room to get a night full of cuddles.
