Y/n tried her best to race to her school without dropping her books. Her father had left earlier as to avoid prying eyes of the media to see her if he felt so inclined to use his quirk on his journey to school.
The quirkless girl panted as she caught a glimpse of her new school. She hadn't really gone to a school outside of the States but her dad insisted it was about the same.
"I wish he didn't go before me," Y/n whispered to herself as she swiped her card at the gate. "which locker is mine?" She asked herself as she looked at the array of lockers. She looked around for a moment until she spotted another boy who had opened his locker.
"Excuse me," she said as she tapped on his shoulder, he flinched slightly and turned around to face her. The first thing she noticed were his freckles and then his jade green eyes.
"Can you help me find my locker? I can't seem to find it," she asked, snapping out of her mini trance.
"O-oh! Yeah, what's your locker number?" He asked, y/n noticed the little blush that was spreading on his face but decided to not comment on it as she handed him the locker number.
"O-oh, it's the one above mine," he stuttered shyly as he pointed to the locker above his own. "Oh! That was silly of me, I didn't really realize there were more lockers above. Thank you,--" she paused, "I'm sorry, I didn't ask you your name, that's rude.""O-OH, I'm Izuku Midoriya!" He said as he held out his hand for me to shake. "I'm Y/n, Y/n Yagi. Pleasure meeting you, Midoriya," she replied back as she took his hand and shook it. Izuku felt his heart race, he was mostly worried about accidentally activating his quirk and breaking this girl's hand.
He was only slightly happy when he let her go so she could unlock her locker. He watched as she carefully put 2 books in her locker as she stood on the bench as to reach her locker comfortably. She closed the door softly and looked down at Midoriya who turned away a bit embarrassed that he was caught.
"I have to go, I'll see you around, locker neighbors," she said before heading to her destination.
Midoriya watched as ahe walked away. She was that girl who was looking for All Might in his skinny form. What was she doing at U.A? He didn't have the courage to ask All Might about her when he started training with him. He didn't want to seem intrusive to his mentor's private life.
The curiosity felt like an underwhelming pressure that could easily be resolved if he just asked. He should have asked her but he was in shock of even seeing her there.
Y/n's classes were uneventful to say the least. A general studies course was the only course she could but she was content with it. She started making her way to the teacher's lounge holding her dad's lunch by the little knot that held the cloth together.
"Dad? Are you in here?" She asked as she poked her head in. "Students aren't allowed in here," she heard a dry voice say.
She looked around the seemingly empty lounge looking for the voice's owner until her eyes landed on a yellow sleeping bag that was on the floor.
"I'm looking for Mr.Yagi, do you know where he is?" She asked as she crouched down to his level. "Why should I tell you?" He asked as he unzipped his sleeping bag and got up from his place on the floor.
Y/n got up and stated calmly, "he left his lunch at home and I need to give it to him."
"Wait here then, I don't care," the shaggy looking man said as he sat down on the couch. "You said I wasn't allowed in here, so I won't over stay my visit. Can you please make sure he gets this? I would hate if someone else ate it," she said as she held out the little bento box, hoping that the shaggy man would protect it for her until her father got it.
"Sure," he replied, grabbing the box from her grasp. She smiled slightly and quietly said goodbye.
Aizawa held the box in his hands. It was peculiar to think that the girl he had just interacted with was the daughter of All Might. She was much calmer than her father, quieter too. He knew of her as much as any other person in staff knew her. He knew she was a recommended student but whether it be for academic excellence or because her dad was an alumni was beyond him
All Might walked into the teacher's lounge, making a beeline to the coffee machine. It seemed like he didn't even notice Aizawa sitting with a light blue cloth that covered the number one hero's lunch.
"Your daughter left this for you," Aizawa said as he calmly held up All Might's lunch. All Might turned and grabbed the lunch only to mutter a quiet thank you.
"It's unfair for her to treat you as if you're the child. You shouldn't make it a habit to forgetting your lunch," Aizawa said before exiting the teacher's lounge.
All Might sat alone in the teacher's lounge as he ate his lunch.
"Dear dad,
Please don't skip out on lunch, a proper hero (especially ones that are 225 kg of muscle mass) need to eat lunch. Please don't think down on yourself, you're a great hero and father
-y/n"He smiled at the note. He opened his wallet and placed the note inside carefully so that he wouldn't loose it.
"I'm so lucky to have her."
