* The scene opens up to an old medieval house in a village*
A 14 year old girl comes running out with a little boy tailing her. He looks to be about 8. It was raining just before they came out so they decided to play in the mud and dirt. They got so disgustingly grimy that when they tried to come inside their mother wouldn't allow them to. She said," The lot of you are disgusting go to the back entrance and CLEAN YOURSELVES OFF BEFORE ENTERING!" She yelled as they were running to the back entrance. The village experiences a lot of rain due to it being in a swamp. After they went around to the back entrance and cleaned themselves off it was already time for dinner, they had been playing ALL DAY.
*In a dining room with rickety wooden chairs and table*
"I've prepared chicken bread and peas, try it." Says the mother. The girl picks up her fork first and uses it to eat the peas and chicken. The boy on the other hand reaches for the bread first. The mother makes him eat the rest of his food. After they're all finished eating the mother puts them to bed. They have to share a room due to the tiny house but they appreciate it anyways. In the middle of the night the girl has a strange dream. There is a boy at the top of a big tree and she knows she has seen that tree before. "You must save it." Says the boy at the top. "Save what?" Says the girl. "The Grove Tree, you are its next protector. Go to the tree first thing in the morning and meet the elf, he will explain everything. Help the tree Skylar Rein of Esmaldia."
