Alphys' P.O.V.

Dear Diary,

I've done it, I've come clean with what I did, I sent the amalgamates home to their families. No one hates me, I guess, they are mad that I didn't tell them though.

They've forgiven me but, I don't deserve it! THEY DESERVED SO MUCH MORE AND BECAUSE  OF MY FAILURE THEY HAVE TO LIVE A MISERABLE LIFE MELTED TOGETHER WITH OTHER MONSTERS!

It's all my fault, I'm never going to be a good royal scientist. I should have never taken this job. I know there are people that have way more ability than myself to be the royal scientist.

I'm thinking about quitting. The barrier is still there and with the law of killing humans gone, all hope of escape is on me. I can't handle this. I don't even know where to start!

I never created an artificial soul for Mettaton, he's just a ghost using the body I made him to make life easier. That's the only reason I was hired. Because I supposedly made an artificial soul. Where really, I'm just a liar and a fraud!

I'm gonna write my resignation letter to the king and go look for a place to live.

I put my pink pen down and locked my diary. Before writing I need to pack. Once Asgore found out I lied he would want me out straight away.

I jumped as someone knocked on my door. I rushed over to it and opened it up.

"H-Hello, Y-Your M-M-Majesty," I stuttered as I greeted Asgore, the king.

"Howdy Alphys, sorry to interrupt, I'm sure you've been busy, but I'm calling an emergency meeting at my castle. I've called everyone else but you never picked up your phone so I decided to come see if you're okay." Asgore exclaimed in a nice and friendly tone.

"O-O-Ok," I replied. I can't tell him I'm quitting now, not now, he would be so disappointed.

"Anyway, come along, we don't want to leave the others waiting." Asgore turned and started walking at a normal pace towards an elevator that would take us to his Castle.

"S-So, who else is coming?" I asked. Before Asgore could answer two monsters came running at us.

"Hey! Wait up!" Undyne called as she skidded to a stop next to us. Papyrus was directly behind her. "Wow, I guess I'm early for once! Fuhuhuhu!"

Undyne was usually late for meetings.

"Undyne, glad you could make it, and Papyrus, nice of you to join us," Asgore greeted.

"Yeah, Paps and I were training when I got the call so I decided to invite him along, this way we could train by running here!" Undyne exclaimed with enthusiasm although she looked exhausted.

"YES! AND I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, AM GETTING FASTER EVERY SECOND!" Papyrus stated.

"S-So, who else i-is coming to the m-meeting," I asked.

"Well, I invited Toriel but she said she was busy taking care of Frisk (and that I should never call her again), and um, the Royal Judge is also going to be there," Asgore replied.

"Finally! I've always wanted to meet the Royal Judge!" Undyne exclaimed. "I've also wanted to spar him! I know he'd have to be really strong, even stronger than me!"

"H-Has the R-Royal Judge d-decided to reveal their identity?!" I asked in surprise.

"I don't think so, but he will be there. He probably will just disguise his face." Asgore exclaimed.
