"Guys over here!"

Luckily, the bus arrives at the same time the rest of the boys do. They all cram into the remaining seats the ride has available and Jaemin has no idea how he ends seating next to Jeno. He wouldn't have minded if it weren't for the cheeky grins their friends were giving them. But he'll make it work.

"Hey Jen, you like kpop?" He grins at Jeno who in turn blinks.

"Y-yeah... I listen to it sometimes," he rubs the back of his neck. Jaemin grin grows as he offers his left headphone.

"Well I hope you like Red Velvet. I've been obsessed with this song," he urges Jeno to take the ear piece, and said boy takes it hesitantly. A bright and quirky melody immediately registers as soon as he wears it.

"Oh! I've heard this song. I really like it," he beams. Jaemin's smile is full now, glad to have found something in common with his new friend.

J: You guys look cute together~

C: aaawwww so romantic! sitting together on the bus is classic romance culture!

R: then what does that make you and Jisung?

J: No comment.

You are all exaggerating. We're just listening to Red Velvet.

R: if i remember correctly, back when were in high school you said you'd only date someone who has your same music taste

J:  I remember this.

UGH. I can't catch a break with all of you can't I?

R: nope

J: Negative.

C: Guys. I think I might have left my charger home...

...

C: Nevermind! Found it!

After a full hour on the ride, Jaemin's eyes begin to feel heavy. It is somewhere through Wendy's 'Baby one of these days. One of these years' that he loses consciousness. His head landing somewhere warm.

He dreams of a faceless man. He is tall and built but still soft on the edges. His hand reaches towards Jaemin's and he holds him firmly as to assure. They stand in an infinite field of roses as the man pulls Jaemin closer. They embrace for a short period before the blue-haired boy decides to pull away. He tries to register the mans features but fails to do so. Yet he receives a short kiss on his forehead. 

"I love y-"

He startles awake.

"We're here dummy. Let's go get some sunshine and beach hours!" Jaemin looks up at Renjun and promptly realizes he's laying on someone.

"Ah! Jeno! I'm so sorry. Did I drool on you? Oh no."

"Yeah, but it's okay-"

"So glad I got this on camera."

"Donghyuck!"
