Chapter 14~ The Lord of Vampires

As months went by i saw how Liah has grown she has become beautiful while sitting under a gizbo with cordelia and beatrix sipping my tea but i knew that he will come cordelia then faced me with a soft smile on her face "Liah is beautiful yuki" she said to me i smiled back softly then looked at Liah playing with kanato and laito i giggled a little as i saw ayato,shu and reiji hanging out with each other also with subaru he was walking around in the garden with his mother which made me happy and him happy even though my face showed happiness beatrix knew that something was wrong. I sighed softly then looked at the sky ayato then walked over to me and took my hand i looked at him smiling softly he then kissed me he then placed a hand on my cheek "are you okay yuki" he asked me softly i could see it in his eyes he was worried i shook my head "no not really" as i was about to say what was wrong liah came running up to me then hugged me tightly "you alright sweety?" i asked her she then looked at me with a smile on her face nodding then cuddled into me i giggled then picked her up placing her on my lap holding her close ayato stroked her beautiful long red hair kanato then laito walked over followed by reiji,shu,christa and subaru "she is so cute right" said laito everyone agreed so did i. Later on that evening i was in the kitchen preparing dinner liah,ayato and the others were preparing the table until the doors flew open all of a sudden me,cordelia,beatrix and christa ran out of the kitchen through the dining room then the living room where my eyes widen there the lord of vampires stood high and mighty with a dark smirk on his face ayato then pulled me and liah behind him as he glared and growled at the king "what business do you have here" ayato said in a low growl the king looked at him with a smirk then pointed towards me "i want her and if i cant have her then lets just say someone is going to die in this room" he said in a cold dark voice my eyes widened even more but trying not to show any fear i walked infront of ayato then glared "kill one of my families and you will be the one who will end up dead" i said as my eyes started to glow brightly and a low growled escaped my voice but all the lord did was just laugh evilly and hysterically,then stopped after wards showing a large grin on his face he then made a kanata appear in his hand and pointed it towards me "we shall have a duel one on one" he said to me i growled even louder as a aura began to surround my body then reaching into the air a very ancient rare sword with a tilt made of red crystals appeared in my hand subaru's eyes widen so did the others but ayato was worried so was liah i nodded then all of us vanished and reappeared near the lake where it was bigger both of us then took few spaces back then dashed towards each other with my sword and his kanata raised both of us swung at the same and it clashed causing a great vibration through the ground also with cloud of smoke surrounding us as the metal of my sword and his kanata were clashing each other with sparks flying as well as fast we were fighting each other.

As the cloud of smoke vanished me and the lord of the vampires were locked in sword fight that neither us wanted to lose as me and him pushed back i dashed towards him then leaped into the air then delivered a downward slash but to him was easy because he blocked it giving him chance to knock me back as he did i quickly done a back flip and landed on to my feet panting heavily knowing how strong he is. He smirked at me then dashed towards me and so did i,once again we were close and locked our blades but this time i kicked him back then slashed him he cried out in pain as he was sent flying into the ground ayato and the others cheered when i managed to land a hit on him i looked at them and smiled then dashed towards him again but as soon he has got up i should have figured that he fired three dark orb towards me i quickly stopped then blocked it with my sword but i didn't know that it was a distraction because he then appeared behind him and slashed me and sent me flying through the trees, ayato's eyes widen he quickly gave liah to cordelia and ran over to me i was laying there unable to move my body ayato then kneeled down beside me and supported my head as he stroked my cheek "Yuki..wake up please.." tears fell down his cheek as it did they landed on my face i opened my eyes slowly as everyone gave a sigh of relief cordelia placed liah down who ran over and hugged me tightly slowly lifting one of my arm up i wrapped it around her holding her very close then raising my hand i placed it on ayato's cheek he took my hand,looking at me as tears continued to fall down his cheek the lord watched and laughed "you fought well but not good enough my bride" he said as he sheathed his kanata laito and reiji both glared at him with anger but the lord did nothing and laughed then in a dark wind he vanished,subaru then walked over kneeling down he scooped me in his arms then looked at ayato "i will take her back to the mansion" he said as ayato nodded "i will go with him as well just to make sure she is fine" said shu he and subaru then vanished with me,liah looked up at ayato then took his hand "daddy..do not cry..mommy will get better and she will win next time" she said softly ayato looked at his daughter then nodded he looked at reiji,latio,kanato,cordelia,christa and beatrix all of them nodded and headed back to the mansion but before ayato went back he looked towards the lake thinking to himself then headed back to the mansion with liah thinking to himself still and not saying anything at all.
