Kamari got up that morning Feeling reluctant to get up from the bed. She knew she had to be in school at 8:30 am yet she felt like lying on the bed all day. "Kamari you'll be late for school", Mrs Daniela shouted from downstairs. Then she realised she had slept off without pulling the curtains as the sun rays shone through her glass wall. She reached out for her phone as she did every morning and almost dropped it when she realised it was already 7:30 am. She rushed to the bathroom with her nightwear still on her. Quickly took a bath. "Kamari what are you still doing up there". Mrs Daniela shouted again from downstairs. "I'm done Mum" Kamari replied running down the stairs. "Be careful not to fall" said Mrs Daniela. Kamari grabbed a slice of sandwich from the dining table and rushed outside. "Have a nice day Twinnie" she said to her mum as she entered the car. Mrs Daniela and her daughter could be mistaken for each other for their striking resemblance. Hour glass, deep brown eyes shaped like those of a cat, well carved nose and heart shaped Plump lips. The only difference was that the mother looked more matured than her 20 years old daughter. "What the hell were you doing at home?" Kamari's best friend Loren snapped trying to look upset. When Kamari walked towards her, she couldn't help but laugh. Holding hands the two girls walked to class. They entered the classroom and sat at their normal last benches. The two girls were in their third year in the university studying The sociology of Population and Development. The lecturer was almost done with lectures when a young man entered obviously distracting everyone. He looked in Kamari's direction and Loren tickled Kamari at the side making her giggle. It was her boyfriend. That was her man. Mischievous yet seductive at all angles. He was also one of the brightest students in the whole university, his classmates wondered how he did it given he was seldom in school.
