Chapter 38: "Wait, You're 21?"

Mariana POV

I wake out of my sleep when I hear Billie's phone ringing. I look and see Billie is still sleeping so I lean over her taking her phone and the contact says Hades. I pick it up putting it to my ear, "Mom, there's a problem." He says. 

"It's not Mom, it's me." I tell him. "Oh hey mama!" He says excitedly.

"Hey baby, how are you?" I ask him. "I'm fine, but Ems isn't." He mumbles. "What's wrong?" 

"Um, Emilia's mom is here." He answers and I'm confused. "What are you talking about boy? Me and Billie are both here."

"No, like I mean biological mother." The words hit me like a slap in the face.

"Ma?" Hades calls out after I don't answer for a while. "Yeah, I'm here, I'm on my way." I answer hanging up. I carefully put Billie's phone back by her side. I get up quietly freezing when Billie stirs. 

I know I promised Billie no more psycho Mariana, but just one more time.

I hurry and put something pleasing on. I walk out of our bedroom and walk downstairs and Zoe says "You were up there for a while."

I laugh sarcastically asking her where Billie's car keys are. She shows me and I choose the key to her Ferrari. I go to the garage getting in the car. I open the glove compartment pulling out the pistol and magazine filled with bullets. I place them on my lap while driving to my destination.

No One's POV

"You're not my mom." Emilia said for the 500th time. "Look, I know it's hard to accept, but I'm here now."

"You're here now? You're about 21 years late." Emilia laughed.

"Wait, You're 21?" Angela asked.

"Great, this bitch doesn't even know my age, leave." Ems urged her towards the door. "Wait, Ma's coming."

"If that's the case, you're in for it." Emilia laughed putting her hands on the balcony railing. "Emilia, please let me explain." 

"Bro, I've been waiting for an explanation for 21 years, I obviously want it." She exclaimed at her. "There was a complication, me and your mom slept with each other-" 

"I really don't want to hear about my wife sleeping with another woman other than me." 

Everyone turned around and saw Mariana there with her arms crossed over her chest. "Who's this?" Angelica asks.

"Introduce yourself." Jayden mutters scratching the back of his neck shaking his head. Angelica steps up to Mariana putting her hand out. 

"Touch me, I'll cut off your fingers." Mariana uttered sternly. "I suggest you back up." Hades tells her. 

"I'm Angelica and you must be?" 

"The bitch who's about to show you the real meaning of a psycho in three seconds."

"Huh?" Angelica asks turning around and looking at Emilia raising an eyebrow.

"Don't fucking look at me like I remember." Emilia shrugged.

"I was the person who took Emilia in after your dumbass couldn't take care of her, she's not your daughter, so you don't get to come here an claim her just because she sat in her tummy for 9 months." Mariana stated.

"I'm not intruding or trying to offending anyone."

"You're offending me." Mariana tells her. "I'm sorry, I just wanted to reconcile with my daughter."

"No."

"What?"

"No, you filthy bitch."

"Okay, I have no idea why you're insulting me. I did nothing!" 

"Get out, you're literally pathetic." Mariana says. "I'm trying to talk to my daughter."

"I don't want you talking to her!" 

"I'm not leaving." 

"Okay, I tried to be nice." Mariana muttered, she walks up to Angelica causing me to watch intently. Mariana fists her hand and punches Angelica in her jaw. 

Mariana grabs Angelica by her arm pushing her into the wall. Angelica's face collides with the wall and she slumps down to the ground.

Mari sighs and before she can continue, she's pulled back by Billie. "What the hell is going on?" Billie asked. "I'm not doing anything wrong!" Ma exclaims. 

"It looks like you're about to beat her to a bloody pulp, damn it, I knew you did something stupid." Billie breathed out. 

"Hades was the one who called her!" Jayden snitches. "Actually, I called Mom, but Ma picked up." Hades defends himself.

Angelica gets up holding her bleeding nose. "Hey, I won't kill you if you just leave. For your own sake." Billie tells her, her hand on Mariana's chest keeping her against the wall.

"I won't leave." Angelica shakes her head and does something no one expects.

She kisses Billie.

Pretty short today, I'm sorry, but guess what today is!!!

Today is the day I posted the first chapter of You Don't Know Me. YDKM HAS BEEN OUT FOR ONE YEAR!!

It's crazy how much I've grown, how YDKM has like become a household name, I see YDKM in literally so many reading lists and get messages about it everyday.

I don't know if you know, but I put my heart and soul into this story and so many of my other stories, but this story in particular hits home for me and it's grown so much in such a quick time.

I remember putting this out, my writing was horrible, disgusting and I don't know if y'all noticed but it's changed. A LOT.

I kind of didn't know where I was going when I put the first book out, I almost thought about deleting it.

THANK GOD I DIDN'T.

I want to thank you guys so much for 600 followers, which I also hit today, I'm getting bigger and bigger for literally nothing and I love all of you so damn much.
