Hello guys/gals/non-binary pals! My name is Maddy. I'm am aromantic asexual twenty year old from America. I've done a chapter on Asexuality in my bio book where I do tags, but thought it was about time I did a book just on this. I've read quite a few books here on Wattpad about people's personal expierience with Asexuality, and thought I'd give it a shot. Before we begin, we should answer the question:

Asexuality is the lack of sexual attraction to others, or low or absent interest in or desire for sexual activity.
𝖂𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝖉𝖔𝖊𝖘 𝖎𝖙 𝖒𝖊𝖆𝖓 𝖙𝖔 𝖇𝖊 𝕬𝖗𝖔𝖒𝖆𝖓𝖙𝖎𝖈?
Being aromantic means having no interest in or desire for romantic relationships.
𝕮𝖔𝖒𝖒𝖔𝖓 𝖒𝖎𝖘𝖈𝖔𝖓𝖈𝖊𝖕𝖙𝖎𝖔𝖓𝖘 𝖋𝖔𝖗 𝖇𝖔𝖙𝖍 𝖘𝖎𝖉𝖊𝖘 𝖔𝖋 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖘𝖕𝖊𝖈𝖙𝖗𝖚𝖒:
You don't have to be both Aromantic and Asexual. Some people are one. Some people are the other. Some people (like me!) are both.
We aren't void of emotions. I can feel emotions just like an allosexual and romantic person can. I just don't feel attraction towards others. I see a person and go, "Wow! A person!" not "Wow, that person's hot" or whatever else. I looked up aromantic to get a denotation for this, and the sentence said: "Some people see Aromantics as robotic and void of emotion." No, that's not true at all.
You're not too young. If I had known the word earlier, I might've been younger when I found out. I'll get into more details about my middle school's brain later in this story.
You're not alone. You're special in your own ways. You are not invalid.
Some asexuals want a relationship and have romantic desires. (I don't but that's besides the point).
Some aromantics have sexual desires. (I still don't, but no one asked me.)
We aren't going to become a nun. (I'm also Catholic, so this is more aimed towards my fellow Catholics.) Though being single forever sounds like a dream come true, I don't want to live in a convent.
I'm not going to become a crazy cat lady. If you want to be, you do you, but I can barely handle my one cat, Tigger.
We haven't been through a traumatic situation. If you have, I'm sorry, you shouldn't've had to go through that. For me, it's just never been there. For as long as I can remember.
