The next morning, I spend several minutes walking around in a daze, trying to locate some source of caffeine. Unfortunately I didn't have any coffee in the house, and I wasn't about to call an uber to come so I could get one. I settle for making hot chocolate.

I stand there, half asleep, remembering last night. I was so excited, I could hardly sleep. I was going camping with my favorite youtubers! Never in my wildest dreams did I image this would happen.

Despite that, something kept nagging at me, trapped in the back of my mind. It started when James and I were working on the bed frame. The feeling grew all day. It was really starting to get annoying. Finally when I was trying to fall asleep, it hit me: the tent only had three rooms. I shot up when that realization hit. Eh, I shrug and lay back down. I can sleep in the middle room.

Even with that nagging feeling gone, I still couldn't sleep. I kept thinking about James. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw us together. Whether we were throwing flour at each other, or just talking, he was at the center of many happy thoughts. Focusing on him, I convinced my brain I need to sleep. Still, I kept waking up, hoping it was the morning. Now I was paying the price for it.

I am practically bouncing off the walls with excitement. I make breakfast, though my nerves are making it difficult to eat anything. I have enough cookies and other food packed, just in case they forget to bring any food. I also packed a sleeping bag, portable charger, go pro, and a jacket. I'm wearing a black t-shirt, black kapris, and black sneakers, just in case I wanted to scare anyone.

Currently it is 9:30. They're coming to pick me up at 12:00. Three and a half hours to go. I sigh and flop back onto my new couch and close my eyes in defeat. I grab my laptop off its charger and pull up YouTube in an effort to kill some time.

At 11:50, I plug my laptop back into the charger and shut it off. I grab my backpack, which was by the door, and walk out. Locking the door behind me, I turn and sit on the front step, waiting for the truck to pull into my driveway. Enjoying the summer air, I close my eyes and breathe in deeply. Opening my eyes, I pull out my phone to check the time, and my messages. I also realize that I don't have their numbers, so I have to trust they will be here on time.

I sit up straighter in the steps when I see a white car pull in my driveway. I don't know many people in Texas, but I don't think any of the ones I do know have a white car. I start backing up until I see who gets out the driver's side.

"Hey (Y/n)," James greets, getting out of the car.

"Hey James," I reply before standing up and shouldering my backpack.

"Here, let me get that for you," James offers, holding out his hand.

"You sure?" I ask, adjusting the strap on my shoulder.

"I'm sure," James says, a small smile on his face.

I slide the backpack off my shoulder and hand it to James. He shoulders it and we start walking toward his car. I guess there wasn't enough room in the truck.

"Truck too full?" I ask, a smile playing on my lips.

"Someone would have to ride on the roof," James replies, making me laugh a little. I could tell he was happy he made me laugh when I saw his eyes shining.

James opens the passenger door for me and I slide in. We pull out of the driveway and follow the truck to get food. We pull into McDonald's and place our orders. Once we get our food, we pull into the parking lot next to the truck. We talk about the camping trip, and I try to look decent while eating.

Soon we were under way to the camp site. We are going to the place where they went camping before. I am so excited! It is a decent drive away, so James and I play twenty questions to pass the time.
