After last night, waking up was hard. I headed downstairs after my shower to make breakfast. Surprisingly I found a note by the fridge saying Buenos Días Novia...!no necesitar a hacer desayuno. Eso será ser manejado. ~Luca.

*Morning girlfriend. No need to make breakfast. That will be handled*

I knew about their plan to make me think that he was my mate but if I were to believe it, I would've get into deep trouble.

I tossed the note in the bin and started to make breakfast, and as much as I wished I had followed Luca's command. I just couldn't risk it.

That day Luca had literally snapped when he found out that I made breakfast, it made me a bit suspicious of them. The whole joking thing was fun when it lasted but now it was just weird.

Luckily that day I was given the day off... I usually got it once a month but it was the second one apart from last week Sunday's rest day.

At 12:00 I decided to go with Nicky to Paolo Dona's ice cream shop, with Roman's coupon.

"So did enjoy the party?" She asked stuffing her mouth with the Sundae she'd ordered.

"If you mean cleaning, cooking and cleaning again. Then yeah I did enjoy it. Although thanks for y'alls help." I drawled taking a bite of my multiple chocolate ice-cream

"Sorry and your welcome. But anyway how was your morning and evening?" She asked

"Uhm, yeah yesterday I received a very weird gift. I got to my room found a bouquet of flowers, chocolates and a dress with some heels-"

"How is that weird?" She cut in.

"Well you didn't let me finish. So I thought they were from my parents but the letter left with the gifts. It seemed a bit too romantic for my parents to write, it was a poem and something about me supposed to be meeting." I explained handing her the letter.

She skimmdd through it and replied: "well, you're right there it can't be your parents. But with this love poem I am pretty sure it's your mate!"

"Maybe, but don't you think I would've met him yesterday if it were?" Throwing her a curious look

"Maybe, maybe not but when you go see him or her, you must wear the clothes they bought you" she advised.

"Yeah. And I'm pretty positive it has to be a guy. I don't roll that way" I replied dryly

(A/N) no offence to people that root for the other team. I don't. But I don't have problem with it, as long as you happy.

" Plus, the L&N trees are where Nicholas asked Lucia to go for him to reveal himself as her mate, no one has used that place in 32 years because...-usually mates meet at the same time. So if your mate knew you on his birthday he just didn't want to tell you but he waits till your birthday so that he can surprise you" I finished the last part with her.

"So maybe the person that has been treating you kindly for the last 2 weeks before your birthday is your mate" she squealed.

"Yeah but, there's a huge but Luca's birthday was 5 months ago, you can't tell me he waited that long to tell me and plus my brother said that they were just teasing me about it, just to see if I was head over heels for him like all the other mateless girls" I said.
