I rode my bike (which was pink and blue), home, next to Lexa and Cole. But for some random reason, I swear I saw a flash of gold in Cole's eyes. This isn't the first time this has happened, and when I tried to tell others about it, they thought I'm crazy. So I don't bother, though there is something strange about him. Anyway, on the way we were going home, Lexa started to yell, " It's not my fault I hurt a police officer!" " It kind of is," Cole replied, looking straight ahead. Lexa glared at him, but I don't think he noticed. "Jerk." She mumbled under her breath. He shot her a nasty look. What is up with them? They are not as close as they were a week. Everybody underestimates me, they think since I'm small, and quiet, that I don't know about anything going on, even though the opposite is true. I'm always observing and taking in information. I'm also always judged by my siblings. Don't get me wrong, I love them, they're awesome and amazing, but it gets annoying, always hearing whispers like, "I wonder who she'll grow up to be like." "She isn't as skilled as Asher." or even, "She isn't as much as a jerk as Alexa." I mean, normal kids would struggle with this too, but they're mostly judged by their parents, but with my parents not alive, it makes it 15 times harder to cope with. I don't want to be Asher or Alexa. I want to be Aubrey. It's hard to be myself if everyone ignores you. The only thing people know me for is being an orphan, and for selling baked goods. I don't want to sound mean, or begging for someone to pity me, but I think I have it the worst out of all of us, I meant that my parents went out to sea 12 years ago, when I was a one year old. Lexa and Asher have all those awesome memories of mom and dad while I can only wonder and imagine what they were like. They don't even give good explanations of how they look. They only said they had green, ocean eyes which Alexa inherited, I have light blue eyes, and Asher has amber eyes.

We got home in silence, and I took my empty cookie basket and money jar into the house. "So, how much money did you make?" Lexa asked once we got inside the house. I handed her the jar. She looked at it like she didn't know how to count. "Well? Do I have to count all this?" She asked, looking at it from all angles. "I guess, I didn't count, so yeah, you do." I replied, not looking up. "I'm just going to assume that this is 100 dollars or more." I nodded. "Not taking after your brother are you?" Cole said. That was officially it. "Why would you say that?!" I snapped. Leda defended me until he left. "You're lucky you know?" I told Lexi quietly. Her head shot up from her book. "What are you talking about?" She asked, closing it and shoving it into the shelf. "You don't have anybody that gossips about you, you aren't invisible, and you have memories of our parents!" I said frustrated that she couldn't see. "What?" She scoffed, "you think it's easy, having everybody talking about what you're going to do next? Having news reporters following you practically everywhere you go!?" She said, voice rising. "At least people notice you! I am forced to eat in the storage closet every single day!! I don't have any friends!!! The closest thing I have closest to a friend is the people who buy my cupcakes!!! Do you have any idea how degrading that is?! That you are too unsocial, and unimportant that you still don't have any friends even though you sell baked treats to people every single freaking day since I was eight!!!!" I screamed, tears pouring down my face. That was when Asher cane in, already distraught. "Okay, let me ask you, why the heck did you knock over the dang streetlight?!" He yelled at Alexa, ignoring me. "It was for your company! I just got upset about the-" "We why did you kick it over!? You could've just texted me! You could've gone to jail! Can you stop being so darn selfish and think about what would happen to us, if you went to jail!?!" He shouted, red-faced with anger. "Is that all you care about? What would happen to you if I went to jail? About your job over at the beach? Would you even think about me, your sister, who got shipped off to juvie?!?!" She screamed, heading out the door, "Het where are you going?!" He asked. "To Val and Dylan's place, at least they care about me there." She snarled, slamming the door. He looked at me. "Well, what are you doing, go to school." He told me, not necessarily angry. I nodded quickly and left the house.
